An amazing thing happened a few weeks ago. I received an e-mail from a staff writer for The Houma Courier. Houma is a small city about 45 minutes from Galliano. We often go shopping in Houma instead of New Orleans. Well, the e-mail was asking my permission to interview me for an article. Eric Butcher, staff writer, had seen this web page and thought the public might be interested in what I had to say (Imagine that!!!)
On the day of the interview, I was very nervous. I told him to meet us at my daughter's house because her house is much nicer than mine. Mr. Butcher was very nice and the interview was almost painless. Here is a copy of the interview.
Well, they say everyone has 15 minutes of fame and this was mine. Back to being an ordingary person again. LOL
