Congratulations to the Kristmas winners. And now, (another drum roll please) it is time to let you know about Auntie Kate's Road Food Kontest. When you're on the road for extended periods of time, you tend to get a little tired of restaurant food; you need some sustenance that you have prepared yourself. But, you have to travel light, and most hotels don't have any kitchen facilities. I already know how to cook a roast on the manifold of a '65 Econoline, and how long to boil bass strings. But I need some new recipes for my Road Food Cook Book. So, in this CD Giveaway contest, I want to see your best "Great Road Food Recipe". The only preparation equipment you have is either a two burner hotplate or an electric frying pan, and a cooler to keep your ingredients in (and of course, your sundry flippers and stirrers. If you pick the hotplate, you get to use one pot and one small frying pan). Fill out the form below with your great road food dish, and the best recipe writers will win one of my CDs. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!
