Easter is now upon us, and we are all looking forward to dressing up in our new Easter dresses and suits and having Easter egg hunts for the kids, and having a big family Easter dinner... Well, that is all fine and good and fun stuff to do, but we all need to remember why we are really CELEBRATING Easter, or should be.
Our Lord and Saviour AROSE from the DEAD as we were promised He would. He DIED for YOUR sins and MY sins. Through HIS shed BLOOD we have been delivered from eternal damnation, and delivered into a life of communing with our Heavenly Father for all of ETERNITY.
I hope that the following poem and the poems and stories on the following pages will shed light on the true reason for Celebrating... And if you haven't asked the Lord Jesus to abide in YOUR heart that you will ask HIM soon... For that is all that you need to do... JUST ASK HIM... and He will willingly and lovingly come to you... When I think about the precious Lord hanging on the tree,
I can see His nail torn hands, that were pierced just for me.
Blessed hands of beauty. Hands of redeeming grace,
Scarred for all eternity, to save the human race.
Hands that gently guide me, hands that lead the way.
Through the darkness of the night, and the light of day.
Strong hands, rugged hands, that knew labors toil.
Hands that hold me gently in their grasp, and warm my very soul.
Sacred hands, mighty hands, these wondrous hands I see.
