ITINERARY:  (Please Note: CORINTH has been added but is not shown)

02 MAY:  EARLY   EVENING   DEPARTURE   FROM   YOUR  AIRPORT  OF  CHOICE.
(IMP:   Check  your  Luggage  to  Athens)

03 MAY:  ATHENS, GREECE - ARV NOON. HALF DAY ATHENS CITY TOUR (3½ hrs)

A representative will  meet  you at  Athens  International  Airport
"Eleftherios Venizelos"  and assist you in your transfer for the half-
day sightseeing tour.  (Acts 17:15)  We climb up to the marble-capped
Acropolis  and visit the famous Parthenon and the Erechteum.  Then, we
go to nearby  Mars' Hill  (or Areopagus) (Acts 17:22) where the Apostle
Paul delivered his well-known sermon. Our tour continues with the high-
lights of modern  Athens: we pass by the tomb of the Unknown Soldier,
Parliament House, Presidential Palace, Panathenian Stadium, Temple of
Olympian Zeus, the Academy, the University and the National Library.
After our tour, our representatives will assist in  the transfer to the
port of Piraeus to board the ship for our Christian Cruise. The M/S
Arion sets sail at 18:00 hrs.

04 MAY:  IZMIR, TURKEY - ARV 08:30. EPHESUS: VIRGIN MARY'S HOUSE (4½hrs)

Our excursion from Izmir takes us to the ancient city of Ephesus. Paul
preached to the Ephesians and lived here for three years. This church
also received an epistle from him. We tour the spectacular ruins where
excavations still continue in this once great and important city which
was founded in the 10th century BC. Walk through history along marble
streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Baths
of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and the
Theater. The Temple of Diana of the Ephesians, one of the seven wonders
of the ancient world, was built in this city. We continue our tour with
a visit to the chapel where once stood the little house where the
Virgin Mary lived for the last nine years of Her life. We return to
Izmir before sailing for Istanbul at 13:30 hrs.

05 MAY:  ISTANBUL, TURKEY - ARV 9:30. ISTANBUL CITY TOUR (5½ hrs)

After lunch on board, we enjoy our afternoon tour in Istanbul, one of
the world's greatest historic cities. Formerly Byzantium, the center of
the Eastern Roman Empire, this city is built on seven green hills and
situated between two continents. East meets West in every way. We visit
the Sultan Ahmed (Blue) Mosque with its six minarets; we see the Hippo-
drome and the Obelisk brought from Egypt; we tour the Topkapi Palace &
fabulous treasure chambers. Later, we try our bargaining abilities over
ceramics, gold, jewellery, leather wear or a fine Turkish carpet in the
Grand (covered) Bazaar. Return to the ship. Sail for Kavala, Greece at
20:30 hrs.

06 MAY:  KAVALA, GREECE - ARV 14:30. HALF DAY VISIT TO PHILIPPI (4½ hrs)

We will drive from the port of Kavala to the site where the Apostle Paul
came and worked, establishing a strong church. To this congregation he
later sent his Philippian letter. Of all the churches Paul founded,
probably none was so near and dear to him as the church at Philippi
(Acts 16:9-33). We see the river where Lydia was baptized, the ruins of
a prison where Paul and Sylas had been kept, the Agora, 5th & 6th
century Basilica and the Theater. Philippi was built by Philip II of
Macedonia on the Via Egnatia, the Roman road which ran from Rome to
Constantinople. After the visit we return to Kavala, the ancient port
of Neapolis (Acts 16:11). We return to our ship and sail for Thessalo-
niki at 20:30 hrs.

07 MAY:  THESSALONIKI, GREECE -ARV 08:30. THESSALONIKI CITY TOUR (4 hrs)

We start our tour with a drive to the upper part of the Old City Walls.
Here we have excellent views of the City & the opportunity to take
pictures. From here we continue on foot to visit the Vlatadon Monastery
which is built on the spot believed to have been the home of Jason. We
continue with a sightseeing drive of the city, viewing the White Tower,
the Triumphal Arch of Galerius standing on the Egnatian Way and we see
the Rotunda.  We visit St. Demetrius' Church with its early Byzantine
mosaics and also St. Sophia the first Christian church in Thessalonica.
(Acts 17:1 - At  Thessalonica Paul went immediately to the synagogue
where for three Saturdays he explained the prophecies of the Old
Testament to Jews and Greeks.) We then return to the ship and enjoy the
rest of the day at leisure until departure for Volos at 19:00 hrs.

08 MAY:  VOLOS, GREECE -ARV 06:00. FAMOUS METEORA MONASTERIES (7½hrs)

After an early breakfast, we are offered a full day  shore excursion. In
the early morning, we enjoy a spectacular  drive up to visit Meteora --
where the fantastic and breathtaking Byzantine monasteries are perched
on top of huge gray and reddish pillars. Monks seeking isolation and
spiritual salvation first built those monasteries in the 14th century.
They are veritable Byzantine museums exhibiting superb icons, old manus-
cripts and unique mosaics and frescoes. In the early afternoon, we drive
back to Volos for embarkation and sailing for Patmos at 15:30 hrs.

09 MAY:  PATMOS ISLAND - ST JOHN'S MONASTERY & REVELATION GROTTO (2 hrs)

At 08:00 hrs, we arrive at the beautiful rocky island of Patmos, where
the exiled John wrote the Book of Revelation.  We drive up to the St.
John the Evangelist Monastery, where we have a wonderful view of the
island. We also visit the Grotto of the Revelation where the heavenly
voice of God revealed to St. John the future of humanity (Rev. 1:12-21).
After some free time for browsing,  we will return to the ship for
sailing to Mykonos at 13:30 hrs. We arrive at 19:00 hrs. Departure from
Mykonos is at 23:30 hrs for our sailing to Piraeus.
