Chapter 13
~*~~*~ I went back downstairs after I had settled back down to sleep “Is she asleep?” asked as I entered the living room was stood at the window looking out onto the cold empty streets I walked over to her “No snow this Christmas” I said softly “Yes I wouldn’t just look out the window at nothing” replied I got up to the window and saw huge flakes of white fall from the sky creating the soft blanket of snow on the ground looking further Christmas lights had lit up the cold empty street making it look full of life. Although most of the street was tucked up warm in bed being gone midnight. “?” I asked after a few minutes silence just watching the hypnotizing snow flakes fall “Yes” she answered turning her head away from the window and looking at me “Thank you” I replied she looked at me a bit confused “For what?” she asked me “For agreeing to marry me, giving me a beautiful daughter and everything else” I replied as I took her hands and walked her over to the sofa I sat down as she sat down with me “Awww you’re so sweet” she replied laying her head on my chest “Am I?” I asked “Yes and that’s why I agreed to marrying you I didn’t ask for a perfect family but it happened” replied sighing “Same goes for me” I said pulling my arms around her more time “When do you want to get married then?” I asked “I’ve always wanted a summer wedding” replied “And for it to be in mid July” she added “want to get married this year well next actually because of the new year but you get what I mean” I asked hoping she would say yes I couldn’t wait to marry her and the sooner the better “I’d like that very much” said I smiled happily “Thanks for being my dream babe” I replied “Hmmm” she mumbled as her eyes closed firmly as she drifted into a sleepy wonderland I carefully picked her up and carried her to our room I put the blanket over her and got un-dressed getting in the bed in the space beside her “Night my sleeping beauty” I said as I kissed her forehead and turned the light off beside her… I woke up earlier then the next morning I got up and dressed then I went in and woke I made sure she didn’t cry and dressed her I took her down stairs I put her into her highchair and made up a bottle I handed it too her while I made some breakfast putting it onto a plate then a tray with a cup of tea and a single red rose in a slender glass vase I wrote a little note and took it up to I placed it on the side and kissed her forehead “Wake up sweetie” I said she stirred as I ran out of the room downstairs I got from her high chair put her coat on and went outside. ~*~~*~ I woke up to the sound of’s voice calling me but when I opened my eyes he was gone but I saw on the side, was a lovely laid out breakfast on a tray I smiled as I took the note the was on it, it read… ‘Morning babe, Thank you for making me so happy, I’ve gone out for a while but I will be back don’t worry enjoy your breakfast I’ve took out with me lots of love xxx P.S look out into the back garden xxxx’ I quickly ate the breakfast and drank the tea before running out onto the landing I looked down to see a soft thick blanket of snow but what took me by surprise was the message wrote in it ‘I LOVE YOU’ awww that was so sweet of him wonder where he’s gone out to and why did he take with him he couldn’t of gone to the shops there all shut on Boxing Day aren’t they? Oh well I’m sure he’ll be home soon I thought as I felt a pair of warm hands wrap around my waist “Miss me?” asked as I turned round in his arms “Of course” I said kissing him “Where did you go?” I asked him “Follow me” said taking me down stairs into the living room “I think you missed some presents under the tree” said I looked at him suspiciously before going over to the tree and pulling two boxes wrapped in gold Christmas paper I un-wrapped the bigger box underneath first and opened it pushing the tissue paper aside I pick up a short shoulder black dress made out of delicate material “Awww it’s gorgeous” I said looking at it “I know and it will look even more gorgeous on you” he replied making me smile I un-wrapped the second box to reveal a blue velvet box I opened that and a gorgeous 24 carat gold necklace with diamonds encrusted around it “ this is so gorgeous but what’s it all for?” I asked looking at him “Well we have this kind of posh new years eve party to go to in 6 days and I saw that dress in a shop a few weeks ago then when I brought the ring I saw the necklace and thought it would go nice with the dress so I brought them because I already knew about the new years eve party” said I smiled at him “There’s one problem” I said to “What?” he asked “Shoe’s” I replied “Already thought of that”said picking up a pair of black strapped sandals “You think of everything don’t you” I said going over to him and kissing him “Yup” replied happily “What about?” I asked him “Oh she’s allowed to come to the New Years Eve party to” relied I grimaced a bit “Don’t worry 's sister has a child and it’s her mates party because her mate owns a club and you can put up in her flat when she needs to sleep” replied “You do think do everything” I laughed “Yeah I know are you going to show me what you look like in all of that” asked “Yes” I said taking the dress, shoes and necklace upstairs I changed into them then went back down to show I went into the lounge but he wasn’t in there “?” I called him “Yes” he said from behind me I turned round to seein his arms with a similar black dress to me on though she had little white tights and little soft black boots a diamond baby bracelet was on her wrist “Awww she looks gorgeous” I said going all soppy “Yeah doesn’t she that’s why I took her with me to’s to pick up the stuff I had left there on purpose and to change her into this” said kissing the top of her head she smiled her cute baby smile “You look great babe” said “Thanks can’t wait to wear it to the New Years Eve party” I replied smiling widely… To Be Continued...
