Confessions Chapter 14 ~*~New Years Eve~*~ ~*~~*~ New years eve had fallen I was getting changed into the gorgeous dress brought me for Christmas I slipped the shoe’s on and went into’s room was in there changing her while I got changed “Can you help me with this?” I asked him, handing him the necklace he had also brought me “Sure” he replied as I turned around and held my hair up out of the way “You go get changed babe I’ll finish changing her” I said to as I kissed him quickly “Thanks” he said smiling and left the room I did the zip up on ’s dress and put her little soft black boots on I picked her up from her changing table and carried her on my hip over to the dresser where the blue velvet box led with the diamond bracelet in I took it out and slipped it on her wrist. “Are my two angels ready to go?” asked from the doorway “I don’t know are we ready to go out with daddy” I asked her, she smiled and laughed her cute little baby laugh “I take that as a yes” I said walking over and taking ’s hand with my free hand I kissed him gently before letting go and walking down the stairs followed by I went into the kitchen and collected my bag from the table opened the front door for me “Ladies first” he said “Thank you” I said walking through the door and out to the car “” said “Yeah?” I asked him turning round he pointed to a black limousine “I hired one for this evening” he said taking my hand and leading me over to the limousine where the chuffer opened the door for us “Thank you” and I said as we entered the car “So how far away is ’s sister’s mates club?” I asked . “Not that far” replied I nodded slightly and looked out the window the limousine stopped and the chuffer opened the door “We have arrived Sir, madams” he said as we stepped out of the car “Thank you” we said again the chuffer smiled and got back in the car he drove off. and I entered the club and saw a huge banner just after the entrance saying ‘Happy New Years Eve/ and ’s Engagement Party’ I gasped “Sorry had to lie a bit” said when he saw me gasp “That’s ok it was for good reason” I replied smiling at him “Congratulations you two” ’s sister said hugging us both “Thanks ” said smiling “Awww and how’s my gorgeous niece” said looking at who gurgled and smiled happily “You want to take her for a bit?” I asked her “Yeah I’d love to” replied taking her from my arms “You be good for Auntie ” I said to “Thanks Sis we’ll go talk to some of the guest” said taking my hand and leading me over to a group of his mates “Guys let my introduce my gorgeous fiancée who you already know ” said to them “Congratulations” they all said in unison seems they’ve already drunk a lot I thought to myself and giggled “Thanks guys” I said politely “Anyway I want to go over and see my mum now” said dragging me away from them “” his mum said hugging him “” she said and hugged me also “Congratulations on your engagement so you set a date yet or is that to earlier to think about” said and giggled “We have actually” said which surprised his mother “You have when?” she asked excitedly “Well we will announce it at midnight” replied “Oh you are mean ” she replied “Yeah I know” said and laughed “10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1 HAPPY NEW YEAR” the whole club screamed as fireworks went off in the sky making beautiful patterns and colours fill the sky “If you’d all like to follow back into the club has an announcement he needs to make” yelled over the noise everyone filed back inside as and I went up to the small stage in the club he took hold of the microphone and my hand then past me the microphone I knew what I had to do because and I had planned this a few days ago but I didn’t expect to have an engagement party so soon I held the microphone up to my mouth and started to sing… So many nights I’d sit by my window Waiting for someone to Sing me his song So many dreams I’ve kept deep inside me Alone in the dark But now you’ve come along And you light up my life You give me hope to carry on You light up my days And fill my nights With song Lonely at sea A drift on the water Could it be finally?
