The Hardest Thing Chapter 7 ~*~~*~ I woke up the next morning and saw the room I was in I smiled as I remember last night “Let this be our secret”said coming into the room with some breakfast “Yeah ok, once the holidays over this fling is over” I said “You mean you want it to carry on until the end?”asked putting the tray on the side “I guess” I said wondering why I was saying this “And what about Chad?”asked and brought me back down to earth I’d forgotten about him “He’s in England as long as we never utter a word of this when we get back who’s to know?” I said andgave me a cheeky smile “Just what I wanted to hear” he replied and kissed me we ate the breakfast he brought in and then got dressed and went down to one of the beaches… The holiday was soon overand I were finished now we were back in England things weren’t awkward between us at all which was good cos it was something I was afraid of “I’ve got to start work tomorrow” I said on the phone tothat night we’d been back two days “Want me to drive you down there?” he asked “That would be nice” I said “Cool what time you start?” he asked “9.30 so be here for 9” I said “Oh ok babe I will you better get to sleep” “Yeah good night” I said “Night babe” he replied and hung up I settled myself down to sleep. “Nervous?”asked as I opened the door the next morning “A little bit but I’ll be fine” I said and walked out to his car getting in and turning the radio on “Any idea what time you finish?”asked as he walked with me to the shop “Um…5 I think I’ll call you” I said and kissed his cheek “Ok see you later” he replied and left “So you must be” a girl said coming up to me “Yeah” I replied “I’mand this iswe’re your co-workers and who is he your boyfriend?” replied “No his just my best friend” I replied “Why? You not done anything at all with him?”asked astonished “Well…No I haven’t” I lied I’d done a lot with him I thought and smiled to myself “Oh ok well you’ll be working on the tills today”said walking over with me “Ok” I replied and set to work D&G was quite busy this morning and it was a relief when lunch came and the store closed for an hour “You coming with us?” asked “If you don’t mind” I replied “No of course not”replied We went to a café not far from the store and chatted a lot more then we had while working we discovered we had a lot in common and I was coming close to confessing that I had done things withwhen Chad came in “Hey babe how has your morning been?” he asked kissing my cheek “It’s been great these are my co-workers and new friendsand, this is my boyfriend Chad” I told them “Nice too meet you” he said shaking both there hands he stayed with us until we had to get back to the store “You have a gorgeous boyfriend and best friend lucky girl” laughed “Yeah I guess I am” I smiled the after noon flew by fast as well as the rest of the summerwas going back tomorrow and it was already breaking my heart had I made a mistake? I should have never of done what I did when we were on holiday together but then would I have felt the same if I hadn’t I’m so confused I sighed as I knocked on’s door “I’m going to miss you”said as he opened the door and let me in we walked up to his room as he was packing he moved his suit case from the bed and hugged me I hugged him back “I’ll see you in two months though” he said as we pulled back I looked into his eyes “I know” I whispered and bit my lip I felt myself moving my head closer to his but I pulled back “We can’t” I said “I know” he replied playing with my hands “I’ve got to go” I said and left tears streaming down my face as I leant against my bedroom door I didn’t feel like doing anything accept climbing into bed and crying my heart out… T.B.C...
