Thank You Chapter 13 ~*~~*~ Tears fell down my cheeks I couldn’t believe I'd loose my precious daughter in less then three weeks there was nothing nobody could do a doctor walked into the room and stood beside me “She’ll be allowed to go home tomorrow you’ll have to look after her more then anything but she can have her last few weeks on earth at home” the doctor said and I nodded “Ok thank you doctor” I replied and he left again as more tears fell down my cheeks “Mummy please I don’t want to make you cry”said reaching out her tiny hand “I know sweetie but I’ll miss you so much” I said and cried some more “I’ll miss you two mummy I’ll watch over you andand my baby sister” she said and I looked at her “How do you know you’ll have a baby sister” I asked her curious “Or brother but I know you andwill have a baby together” she said and I laughed a bit “You know too much for a girl of your age” I said and she giggled “I’m just a clever girl mummy” she replied and I nodded “I know you are babe” I said and hugged her tightly “I’m tired I’m going to get some sleep you should too” said snuggling down in the bed “I’m not going to leave you” I said “I’ll be fine I’m coming home tomorrow you can leave me alone for one night” she said and I sighed “No I’ll sleep right here” I said and led my head beside her “Go to your bed at home mummy I want you to sleep well” she said “I’m not going to win until I leave am I?” I asked and she nodded for no I stood up and kissed her forehead “Night then sweetheart sweet dreams I love you see you first thing in the morning” I said and left the room I went out and got in my car and drove home I got in and sawon the phone with dozens of pieces of paper sprawled across the living room floor I watched him until he hung up “Hey” I said quietly and he turned around got up from the floor and hugged me tightly “I’ve done everything babe” he said “You have?” I asked surprised “It’s amazing what people do when there can only be so much time” he said and I nodded “So we’re getting married in two weeks?” I asked him “Yes” he said and I smiled “I’m so happy to be marrying you I just wishwasn’t going to die soon after” I said and held back some tears “I know me too babe I feel she’s my own daughter”said making me smile again I couldn’t believe how well he got on with her and how he accepted us both in his life “You know what she said to me at the hospital” I said “No, what?”asked “I’ll watch over you andand my baby sister or brother she said the brother bit after I asked her how did she know she’d have a baby sister” I told him and he laughed a bit “Cheeky girl how does she even know we’ll have a baby”said “I know what you mean she just said she knew you and I will have a baby together” I replied “Bless her”said kissing me I broke away “We can bring her home tomorrow and I have to take really good care of her” I said “You always do,called while you were at the hospital and said you can take as much time as you need off as he knows how much you care about”said “Ok” I said sitting down on the sofa “I’ll get you a cup of tea”said and walked out of the room he came back a few minutes later and handed me a cup “Thanksfor everything you’re my lucky star and I don’t know how I'd be able to cope right now if I didn’t have you there” I said to him and he smiled “I’m glad you happened to bump into me that day cos my life has been the best since” he said and kissed me… ~*~~*~ Mummy came to collect me early the next morning I felt weak but I didn’t want to let her know that “I’ve made you up a bed on the sofa so I can keep a close eye on you and so you can watch your favourite film” mummy said as we got in the front door she tucked me up on the sofa and put Monsters Inc on I led there and watched it while mummy cleaned around the house and fixed me some dinner I sat up to eat it was weird knowing I wasn’t going to live to see my next birthday or even Christmas “Sweetieand I are getting married in two weeks so you’ll see us get married and get to be the best flower girl ever” my mummy said as she sat down beside me “That’s great mummy I can’t wait” I said getting excited “My dress is pink right?” I asked her and she nodded pink was my favourite colour I smiled at mummy before eating a bit more… “Come on princess time you went to sleep in your proper bed” said picking me up off of the sofa I could see it was now dark outside “Ok daddy” I said making him smile as he carried me up the stairs and put me in my bed “Night sweetheart” he said and kissed my forehead and left the room I waited a few minutes before getting up and going over to my small desk I found apiece of paper and an envelope from a letter set I got given last Christmas so I could write letters to Santa in the future I got my special Boo from Monsters Inc pencil and wrote a letter to mummy and daddy I finished it a while later and put it in the envelope I sealed it and hide the envelope somewhere mummy would have to look after I died
