_? Is that you? – a girl asked approaching her.
_Amy? Hi!
_I can’t believe it! How long has it been?
_8 years.
_Oh my God! What are you doing here? – amy asked hugging.
That was a good hug. Amy was’s best friend, they knew each other since they were born. Amy was the one who helpedand
getting together.
_I’m here with my friendsand. We’re visiting’s family, they just moved here.
_Girl, we have so much to talk about!
_I know! –sounded excited.
_We could sat a date or something. How long are you gonna stay?
_A month at least.
_Good! Here… - Amy took a pen and a piece of paper out of her bag – I’m gonna give you my number. Call me, I really missed you.
They hugged each other again then said goodbye.
Whenleft 8 years ago she promised to call Amy everyday and write once a week, they said their friendship would last forever but in 2 
months the phone calls were getting rare and the letters forgotten. They never heard from each other again. 
was happy to see Amy again, that girl was an important part in her life.
_Wow! This is the first real smile you give since we got here! –teased.
_Amy was my best friend when I lived here. I’m happy seeing her again.
_Ok, after that touching encounter, where do we go? –asked.
_Since there’s nothing much to do here… –said.
_And we’re tired… –completed.
_I think we should take an ice cream at Arnie’s Parlor.
_Fine by me! –said holding.
They headed to the old parlor, the best place to go on weekends.and her old friends had too much fun there, whatever they had in mind 
they met at Arnie’s Parlor to talk about.
_Hey Arnie! –greeted.
_I can’t believe what my eyes are seeing! Is it really you little? – the old man said amazed.
_Yeah Arnie! Are you happy seeing me?
_Of course little girl. – Arnie said giving her a hug. – And to celebrate you coming back home, free ice cream to you and your friends.
The old man went behind the counter to take the ice creams as and her friends found a table for them.
_People really like you here, huh? –observed.
_I guess… I didn’t know how much they missed me. –said a bit thoughtful.
_I don’t get why did you leave here. –said.
_I wanted to see things; I wanted to learn more; to know more.
Arnie brought their ice creams, they stayed at the parlor for a while then they headed back to’s parents’ house.
During the night,dreamt about the time she lived in Appleville and when she woke up on the next morning the inevitable questions came 
to her mind: “ How’s? Does he still live here? Am I gonna see him this month I’m staying here?” Maybewould have these answers 
sooner than she thought. 
She had breakfast with her friends then called Amy and set a date with her at her house.
