^{Nasceu
em Manaus - AM. Comecou a gingar na ‘Capuera de Rua’ em Manaus aos
13 anos de idade. Foi jogador de Voley. A partir dos 19 anos estudou em BSB, RJ
e SP e graduou como professor de música e músico profissional. Desde 1976 ginga
em bares e palcos da vida como guitarista e percussionista (MPB e Jazz) no
Brasil, Europa, Austrália, etc.Durante 20 anos trabalhou como contrabaixista
nas Orquestras Sinfônicas da E.M.B. e do Teatro Nacional de Brasília, Orquestra
do Estado do RJ e Orquestras em Sydney, na Austrália. Na Europa estudou
idiomas na França e Alemanha e trabalhou com a Capuera e música durante 3 anos.
Em outubro de 1987, chega na Austrália. Em Sydney, pioneiramente introduz os
rituais da Capoeira para o povo australiano na praia de Bondi (Bondi Beach). Mestre
Jerônimo e sua ‘JC'S Capoeira Angola School’ foi oficializada no
Centro Cultural Comunitário do Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach, desde Janeiro de
1988 quando a primeira 'Roda de Rua' da Capuera da Austrália, na frente do
Bondi Pavilion Centre, foi gingada. Em 1990 Mestre JC adotou a cidadania australiana.
Icnoclast Mestre JC escreveu e publicou 2 livros de Capoeira e produziu varios Cds
na Austrália. Mestre Jerônimo é o mentor e inventor da Rod@ Virtual, ou
Capoeira Internet (1997) da qual hoje em dia derivam muitas ‘rod@s’
e forums de Capuera mundo afora.}

Capoeira in}^Manaus^{. Then studied music in}^Brasilia^,^{Rio de Janeiro}^and^{Sao Paulo}^{and graduated as a professional musician and music teacher at
the E.M.B. Since 1976 Jeronimo has performed in Brasil,}^Europe^,^Australia^,^USA^{, and other places around the world. Jeronimo worked as a
professional Double Bass player in Orchestras in Brasil and in}^Australia^{during 20 years. Artist Mestre Jeronimo 'ginga' with MPB
and JAZZ and performs and teach with the guitar and percussion. Mestre Jeronimo
studied idioms in Europe, France and Deutschland, and traveled in}^Europe^{during 3 years. In October 1988 he arives in}^Australia^.^{Iconoclas JC first introduced Capoeira to Australians. Mestre
Jeronino JC’S Capoeira Angola School was firstly
born in Bondi Beach, Sydney, at the Bondi Pavilion Cultural Community Centre. His
Roda De Rua is performed since 1988 in}^Bondi^Beach^{. In 1990 Mestre JC became an Australian citizen. Mestre JC
produced many Cds and wrote and published 2 books in}^Australia^{. From 1997, Iconoclast JC invented the Rod@ Virtual, or,
Capoeira Internet - nowadays many ‘rod@as’
developed from his original idea – and ideals of using this way to ‘ginga’
to evolve.}
