U.S. Navy test intercepts warhead

A U.S. Navy ship intercepts a medium-range missile warhead above the Earth's atmosphere off Hawaii in the latest test of the U.S. missile defense program, the U.S. military says.

Washington says, however, the test of its missile defense program was not prompted by concern over North Korea.
