A Youth league set up by the SPL in 1998, superseding the Youth Division of the Scottish League which had run since 1993, although an unofficial league was organised for the 1992-93 season featuring Celtic, Aberdeen, Dundee United, Dunfermline Athletic, Falkirk, Heart of Midlothian, Motherwell and St Johnstone. Until 2003 the league was open to players who were under-18, and under-19 from 2003. Many thanks to Scott Cockburn and Tom McGouran for supplying the following tables.
