Alternate movie story

This is an alternate version of the story , Anastasia escapes with her grandmother but still meets and fall in 
love with Dimitri

Dimitri and Vlad are walking in St. Petersburg. 

Vlad: can you believe it
Dimitri: not reaally
Vlad: the Grand Duchess Anastasia coming back to St. Petersburg
Dimitri: think about it  the minute she gets off the train the communists will kill her
Vlad: no way they said they wouldn't bother her
Dimitri: okay then

Anastasia is  sitting in her room on the train, she is wearing a yellow dress with her crown 
Anastasia: better hide my identity, don't want to make an entrance
 She removes her crown, hiding it in a case
Anastasia is returning to retrieve the music box she left behind ten years ago
There are a few people on the platform when the train arrivals
They see Anastasia get off but don't recognize her
She heads to the palace
Man in crowd: where is she
Anastasia in disguise: who
Man: the Grand Duchess Anastasia
Anastasia: she probably didn't want to be seen
Man: afraid of communists I guess
Anastasia continues to the old palace 
Once inside she finds a table fall of old Romanov items
One of them is the music box, she picks it up and then starts collecting some other stuff
A plate here a picture there
Dimitri and Vlad are eating in another room
Dimitri hears a noise
Dimitri: Did you hear that
Vlad: no
Dimitri: someone's here
He runs to the ballroom and sees a strange woman going through stuff left on a table 
Dimitri: hey want are you doing here!
Anastasiaa: looking around
He sees the items she collected
Dimitri: what are you doing with that stuff
Anastasia: taking it to the Romanovs
Dimitri: Anastasia sent you
Anastasia: you could say that
Dimitri: word in town is that she is here in town but no one has seen her
Anastasia: can I see her old room
Dimitri: sure why not
They enter her old bedroom and she open the closet 
Dimitri: what are you looking for
Anastasia: here it is
She picks up a yellow dress, the dream waltz dress
Anastasia: how much for all this
Dimitri: don't worry about it, just take it and leave
Dimitri; your beautiful, want to dance
Anastasia: okay lets pretend there is music
They head back to the ballroom
As they dance Vlad catches them
Vlad: who's your friend
Dimitri: don't know
Anastasia: aa  Anya
Dimitri: well Anya what now
Anastasia: I am heading to Paris
They leave the palace
As she walks Anastasia accidently knocks over a stand full of Romanov valuables for sale
Merchant: hey stop
A Soviet guard chases Anastasia after seeing some of the merchandise is broken
Guard: stop vandal !
Anastasia runs
The guard grabs her coat but Dimitri knocks him back
Dimitri: back off don't you guys here enough to do chasing rebels
Guard: no
Dimitri sees the music box on the ground
Dimitri: She dropped this
Vlad: too late
He points to the train station The train is leaving
Dimitri: we have to go to Paris to return it
Vlad: your in love
Dimitri Maybe , come on
The two of them catch the train to Paris and arrive several days later
Unaware that Anastasia is on the same train
They might again in the sleeping car
Dimitri : strange seeing you again
Anastasia : yes , why are you going to Paris? Dimitri : to return something to Anastasia , he holds up the 
music box
Dimitri : you look lovely tonight  Anastasia :thanks
They draw close 
Anastasia : no I can't  Dimitri : why not , Anastasia : I I don't like it 
She runs off
Dimitri : wait !!
Upon arriving in Paris they go to Sophine' house Anastasia returns to Marie
Sophine: Vlad what brings you here
Vlad: my friend has something to return to the Grand Duchess Anastasia
Dimitri shows her the music box
Sophine: oh I see ,but you won't get near hear the empress won't allow it
Dimiri: if she know I had this she would
Sophine: we will be at the Russian Ballet tonight, maybe you can meet her there
Vlad: alright then
Later that night at the ballet Vlad and Dimitri enter 
Dimitri: I don't see her , he is still looking for the girl he met in Russia
Vlad: their at their seats already come on
They reach their seats and Dimitri pulls out binoculars
Dimitri: there they are
He sees Marie sitting on the far side of the theater but not Anastasia who is partially covered by a curtain 
on the side of the booth
Anastasia is wearing her ballgown with her crown
Dimitrii: there's the Empress
Vlad: yes but you'll never get near her
The show goes on ,at intermission Dimitri heads to the royal box
He knocks on the door and sophine meets him
Sophine: what do you want, young man
Dimitri (showing the music box) I want to return this to Anastasia
Sophine: the Grand Duchess doesn't want to be bothered right now
Anastasia hears the racquet outside
Anastasia: whats going on
Marie: just some imposter again trying to get money
Sophine: go away
Dimitri: I came from St. Petersburg to return this
Anastasia gets up to investigate the noise
Marie: don't bother
Anastasia: I will be back in a minute
She reaches the entrance
Anastasia: whats going on
 Dimitri: Your Highness I want to return this
He shows the music box
Anastasia: My music box
Anastasia: I dropped it back in St. Petersburg
Dimitri: Do you remember me?
Anastasia: yes , you helped me escape those soviet guards
Dimitri : it was you all a long
Dimitri: once they knew who you were they backed off
Anastasia: lets go somewhere and talk
They leave the theater while sophine returns to Marie
Marie: where is Anastasia
Sophine: she left with that young man
Marie: why
Sophine: he helped her in Sr. Petersburg
Marie: oh when she got chased by the Soviet guards
Anastasia and Dimitri sneak out back behind the theater
Anastasia: thanks I would have lost my mind without that music box
Anastasia: it was a gift from my grandmother
Dimitri: your welcome your highness
Anastasia: you don't have to keep calling me that
Dimitri I wanted to see you again
Anastasia: me too
They walk off 
Anastasia: I have been so lonely after the revolution
Anastasia: everyone I knew in russia is dead or imprisoned
Dimitri: yes I know ,during the seize of the palace I lead you and your grandmother into the servants tunnel 
and after that everyone else at the palace was killed 
Anastasia: You! You saved us
Anastasia: you saved my life twice
Dimitri: it was nothing
They start to kiss but Anastasia backs off
Anastasia: it will never work out, I'm a Grand Duchess and you're a kitchen boy
Dimitri: yes I know
Anastasia: maybe we should see grandma
They return to the theater the second act is in progress
Marie: where is that girl it's not like her to miss the ballet
Knock at door
Sophine opens door
Sophine: good your back your grandmother was getting worried
Anastasia: this is Dimitri the boy who saved us from the palace
Sophine: oh
Anastasia: we want to she grandma
Sophine wait until the show is over
Dimitri waits in the entrance while Anastasia returns to her seat
Marie: where were you
Anastasia: out for a walk
Anastasia: there's someone I want your to meet
Marie: alright when the show is sver
Later after the show
Anastasia and Marie walk out and meet Dimitri
Anastasia: his name is Dimitri
Dimitri: your highness
Anastasia: he saved us from the palce
Marie: the boy who opened the tunnel
Anastasia: he saved me again in St. Petersburg
Anastasia: and found my music box
Marie: you shall be rewarded
Dimiti: I don't want money
Marie: what do you want 
Dimitri: nothing
They leave Anastasia and Dimitri hold hands
When the reach the car Marie turns around
Maire: what?
Anastasia were in love
Marie: so whats wrong with that
Dimitri: princesses don't marry kitchen boys
Marie: says who, haven't you read Cinderella?
Dimittri: yes
Marie: I have nothing wrong with you two, come on with us
They all get in the car
After they arrive at the Palace Dimitri enters the ballroom and waits 
Anastasia follows him in
Marie puts on a waltz record
Marie: there you go, you won't be rejected be anyone or I'll cause trouble
Anastasia: no that won't be necessary, we will be al right
Marie: okay I finally glad to she my last grandmother happy
Anastasia and Dimitri waltz into the night
