GOD'S LOAN I'll lend to you for a little while, a child Of Mine, He said, For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead. It may be six or seven years or maybe twenty-two or three, But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for Me? He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and shall his stay be brief. You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief, I cannot promise you he will stay since all from earth return, But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn. I've looked the wide world over in My search for teachers true, from the throngs that crown life's lane's I have selected you. Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain, Not hate Me when I come to call to take him home again? I fancied that I hear them say: 'Dear Lord. Thy will be done.' For all the joy thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run. We'll shelter him with tenderness, We'll love him while we may, And for the happiness we've known, forever gratful stay. But shall the angels call for him much sooner then we've planned, We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand. author unknown |
In Our Heart We thought of you with love today. But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday. And the days before that too. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. Now all we have is memories. And your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keep sake. With which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in out heart. unknown Author |
You Were Always There When ever I needed someone to talk to You were always there. My eyes filled with tears, my heart filled with pain and You were always there. There was no time when i had doubt to come to you because You were always there. I could see in your eyes you wanted to help, and that you really cared. When ever i was down and blue You were always there. No matter my problems,or what was wrong You were always there. Whenever I felt like nothing matters Your were always there. Now your gone, and I dont't know what to do I close my eyes and think of you and how You were always there. It's hard to look at pictures, and get memories of you Can you hear me now at night when I pray, and speak to you I guess you were right when you told me no matter how far you were You would always be there. I know one day I'll see you again, but till then I have to say goodbye Even though it hurts to hear your name, and speak of you One thing i will always say is You were always there. |

This is a poem I would want Bradley to read. I want him to always remember that my heart way his, and a large piece of it still is. I will never forget such a special loved one such as him. I love him very much. To this day I cannot begin to wonder how I can love someone so much who isn't here, but i do. Bradley Taylor Thornton, my love and my life. I will never forget your smile, your hugs, your little teeth and big hands. The way you were always willing to help everyone around you even if you were upset with them. You had such a big heart. I don't go a day without thinking that you loved me and I was your life, much like you were mine. I didn't tell you as much as I should have but you know now, you will always know now, I love you Bradley. I will never forget you. Your family was so special to have you in there lives much like I was. And until we meet again, we'll live day by day and think of you. We will miss you. |
