| Kaia's Doctor Appointments |
| April 7th 2006 - 9 Month Appointment weight: 18 lbs 8 ozs height: 27 1/2 inches Kaia had a great 9 month appointment. She is growing by leaps and bounds and entered the fifty percentile in weight. Her doctor was very happy with her milestones and said that she has achieved all she needs to for a one year old (clapping her hands, eating with her hands, walking, etc). So she could basically do nothing for the next few months and still do everything required of a 12 month old. She avoided any vaccinations today, however, like her brothers she had to get tested for anemia and lead, so she got her little toe pricked for blood. Her next appointment will be at 1 year old. |
| July 5th 2006 12 month Appointment weight: 20 lbs height: 29 1/2 inches Kaia had a great 12 month appointment. She is growing perfectly and the Dr just loved her. We told him that she is already saying a few words and running all over the place. She had a little rash on her neck that we correctly assumed was due to the heat, etc. She had to get two shots - one for hepatitus b and one for chickenpox. She also had to get a TB test. Little Kaia is off the hook until her 15 month appointment. |
