My (Ro)Accutane Diary
5th month off Acc

Hi again!

I know it's been a long... long... time since the last time I wrote. But so many things have changed. I had such a hard time and I didn't want to talk about it to you guys until it was over.

I stopped taking Accutane about 5 months ago. My skin looks pretty good. Yeah, all in all, I'm quite happy with the result. No real problem zones or anything. Of course I'm not entirely spotfree or scarfree but I'm fine.

But what's happened? What took me so long?

Depression.
I've been in therapy for about 6 months now. I was doing extremely bad and I was not going to live. I didn't want to live anymore. Couldn't live with myself. Luckily, they found help for me. Thanks to my family and friends, my doctor and therapist, I am still here today. Things are hard and I'm on medication now, but I'm still alive and that's all that matters to me now. I failed at school, took some time off once in a while (I still do), I quit piano and started to play in a studio, writing my own music. And yes, all in all I'm pretty happy.

You're probably wondering whether it was the Acc that caused this....

I honestly wouldn't know.

All my luv
