HOW BRAHMA SATYA REIKI DIFFERS FROM USUI REIKI
With so many reiki systems having evolved anyone could be puzzled about what is what in the world of reiki. Hence to make it easy to understand, a few points are given below regarding the differences between the schools of Usui Reiki and Brahma Satya Reiki.
Brahma Satya Reiki - A Shiva-Shakti system of Reiki.
At first, may I correct the most common misconception regarding reiki and ki. Ki originates from Reiki. Both ki and reiki function beyond the zone of yin and yang, ie, can't be classified as male or female. They both seemingly appear to function in a similar manner, yet are different in ways of functioning. Ki originates and functions at the level of the soul while reiki originates and functions above the level of the soul.
On the Gross Level:
In BSR, right from beginning the symbols are used. Distance healings begin at the first level itself apart from touch healings.
BSR is more powerful as the energies that are generated even at its first level through the attunements are more than the combined energies that get generated through 3 degrees in the other system.
BSR symbols are different and with sanskrit chants that go with it.
The techniques and processes are different.
The approach is more elemental, clear and precise creating more understandings in the process.
The 21 day formulas have been abolished in this system.
Practically, it could well be said that BSR is beginning from where the others end.
Original concepts are evolving through BSR - these are not in any books or being practiced elsewhere.
BSR is a 9 chakra system with all being activated.
On a Finer Level:
This is the system which, as one would move further up into it, provides logical answers to the UNANSWERED QUESTIONS OF THE USUI REIKI. Like,
Why reverse stroke for diabetis
Why hszsn is an absentee healing symbol
What are the symbols and what do they mean actually
How have so many symbols evolved in the world of reiki etc, etc.......
On the finest level, the qualities of shakti and shiva energies get nurtured and do take the individual a long long way in the process of evolution.
Shakti = primal energy that provides the inner strength, that energy for the reason which anything and everything moves
Shiva = primal energy that provides for the completion of anything and everything
Shiva-Shakti = the combined primal energy of the two above, and that which provides for the inner realisation and that which nurtures the growth through knowledge.
Shakti, Shiva or Shiva-Shakti does not represent any of the
mythalogical gods or goddesses as is again normally represented and understood.
