| SHAMEN...POWER ANIMAL...SPIRIT BRIDE: One of the first and only large scale drawings I have undertaken in such detail, having the profound influence of a wisdom teacher, himself an artist of concentrated directions in one, this picture speaks to me of the dangerous Lilith and yet of the necessary strengths of animal spirits, as I was interested in shamanic dimensions of consciousness and strange combinations of study and trance. Using meditation, the sacraments, and an awareness of the human miracle we managed to perform certain feats of creativity which I cannot explain. |
