How'd we get Started Again?

Before BRAIN TERMITES, their was a band that started out in mid 2002 as a Misfits cover band duo, consisting of Andy on Bass, and Miles on Guitar and Vox. They both practiced often and landed their first gig at a friend's party in October of 2002. After that show, they knew they had to get an original band going. Many names came up for a band name, but the one that really stuck was Brain Termites(due to their common interest in low grade gore films, termites eating human brains seemed appropriate). As Brain Termites, they wrote their first song "T.V. MELTDOWN"(This and almost all other original songs, were created highly influenced by certain horror films).       Brain Termites had their first show ,with the new name, in early 2002 at Niles West High School, at which they played with hardcore ass metal band Ballista(Brain Termites didn't have a drummer at the time, so Joe from Ballista filled in on drums.) "Since we had no full time drummer, we just practiced on a daily basis with just me and Andy, writing awesome new songs best described as Horror-Punk."(Which you can tell from influences such as The Misfits, Skeptix, Nekromantix, and LCB. just to name a few.)            We have hooked up with an awesome full time drummer, Luke, whom we met in the early days of 23-Skiddoo. After two bassist's in place, which seemed to be a long-term commitment, Eric Laust (Slayric) is now on bass. Plus, We have a added a full standing guitarist, Belial, so Miles is taking over on vox . This fearsome foursome really pumps out the blood.. We've just finished up our 7" and Full Length recording, they will be available soon as they're ready! " The new songs are fuckin incredible!"-described by a brain termites fan when asked at a Nevin's show.         Brain Termites will always be back from the grave.....with a vengeance...
