No...I’m not doing it again. They always do this to us.” Howie exclaimed slamming the cupboard door.
Vanessa sighed from her spot at Howie’s kitchen table. “It’s only for a night Howie, what’s the big deal?”
“The big deal is they always expect us to baby-sit…I mean fuck don’t we have lives too, when do WE get to go out on dates.”
“We went out to the pizza place last night.”
Howie rolled his eyes. “Hailie and Baylee were with us…how is that considered a date?”
Vanessa stood up when the door bell rang. “That’s probably Justin and Nick right now…so be nice. I mean you know they only have a few weeks until their wedding, and like nothing is figured out. You try planning a wedding with an infant around the house.” She exclaimed and stomped out of the room to answer the door.
Justin smiled at Vanessa sympathetically as she opened the door. “We bring the screaming munchkin for you to watch.” He said pointing at Joshua who was screaming like always in Nick’s arms.
Vanessa laughed and grabbed Joshua from Nick’s arms. “He likes Auntie Vanessa.”
Howie walked out into the living room and tired to smile at Nick and Justin. “Hi guys.”
“What up his ass?” Justin asked seeing the way Howie was acting.
“Don’t worry about him, he’s just being moody.” Vanessa said glaring at Howie.
Nick turned to Justin. “What’s going on with them?” he whispered.
Justin shrugged and handed Vanessa the diaper bag. “All his stuff is in here…”
Vanessa rolled her eyes. “Forget the spiel Ju, we know how everything works.”
Justin blushed and nodded. “Yeah, so I guess we’re off then…Josh, be good for Auntie Vanessa.”
Joshua just continued to sleep, now that he had finally stopped crying.
“Leave…be gone.” Vanessa laughed as she pushed the guys out the door, shutting it behind them. “So Joshy what are we gunna do today.” She said carrying him into the living room, of Howie’s apartment.
“Spit up, poop, cry.” Howie mumbled as he flipped channels.

Two hours later Vanessa was bouncing Joshua in her arms trying to get him to stop crying. Justin and Nick had just taken him to the doctor the Tuesday before and found out he had colic.
Howie walked into the kitchen and sighed. “He still won’t be quiet?”
Vanessa shook her head and sighed. “No, and I’m running out of ideas.”
Howie was going to respond when the doorbell rang. “Who in the world could that be?”
“Don’t know, but go see.”
Walking out into the living room Howie opened the door to see Marshall and AJ standing there with Hailie. “Hi guys.”
“I know this is short notice and everything but can you watch Hailie for us while we go do AJ’s doctors appointment that we totally forgot about.” Marshall said sounding really annoyed.
“Uh…well...”
Hailie saw Vanessa walk into the room with Joshua finally asleep and giggled running into the house. “I wana watch Joshy.”
Howie sighed and nodded. “Yeah…sure…we’ll watch her.”
Marshall smiled big and patted Howie on the back. “Thanks man…you’re a pal.”
AJ looked at Marshall like he was insane as they walked down the steps to the car. “Thanks man, you’re a pal…what the hell was that?” he said laughing.
Marshall flipped AJ off trying not to laugh himself.

“Vanessa…when will Josh be able to play with me?” Hailie asked as she watched Vanessa change Joshua.
Vanessa smiled at the little girl. “Not for a few years honey… I know babies aren’t much fun when they are little, but if you wait long enough they will be.”
“Yeah, then they will come and steal all your toys and pull your hair.” Howie said walking into the room laughing.
Vanessa shook her head. “You sure are Mr. Optimistic today.”
Howie shrugged. “Just saying it like it is.” He said walking out of the room.
“Vanessa, why is Howie so upset…did I do something wrong?” Hailie asked with tears in her eyes.
“No sweetie of course not, Howie is just in a moody today I guess.” Vanessa said walking back out into the living room just when the doorbell rang.
Hailie giggled. “I’ll get it.” And she ran to answer the door, opening it she saw Aaron standing on the other side.
“Hey Hailie…anybody else home?” Aaron asked smiling down at the little girl.
Hailie giggled again and blushed. “Of course silly goose, I can’t stay home alone.”
Vanessa walked over to the door and sighed when she saw Aaron. “Hi Aaron…I thought you were at basketball camp or something?”
“I was, but it finished and Nick called and told me to come over when I got home.” Aaron said making a face. “I hate it how he still doesn’t trust me home by myself.”
“Don’t feel bad Aaron…you can play with me and Josh.” Hailie said dragging Aaron into the house and over to the baby who was sleeping in his car seat peacefully.
“Don’t wait him up guys.” Vanessa warned them as she walked into the kitchen in much need for a nice big glass of apple juice with cucumber placed to perfection at the bottom.

“But blue and green are too close in color; it would look all the same.” Justin said looking down at the colors Nick was holding up.
Nick pouted. “But I like blue and green.”
“I do too, but they are too close, I mean we gota do something like blue and white, or green and white.”
“Fine, dark blue and white.” Nick said picking out the napkins that were those colors. “I’m so sick of this wedding crap, tell me again why we didn’t just catch a plane and fly to Vegas?”
Justin giggled and got up out of his chair walking to Nick side and wrapping his arms around his chest. “Because, then we wouldn’t be able to make hot passionate sex on the table in the middle of all this wedding stuff.” He said kissing a trail down Nick’s neck.
Nick moaned. “Oh yeah, I knew there was a reason.” He said tilting his head to the side to give Justin better access.
Justin didn’t waist any time and pulled off his shorts and t-shirt, showing he didn’t have anything on underneath.
“Oh fuck.” Nick groaned looking up at Justin naked right in front of him. “Baby…please.”
Justin giggled and sat down on Nick’s still fully clothed lap and ground into him. “Please what?”
“Need to be in you…now.” Nick said wiggling underneath Justin.
“My Nicky is a horny toad today.” Justin giggled as he stood up just long enough to help Nick strip out of his clothes, before he went back down onto Nick’s lap, but this time impaling himself on Nick’s cock. “Oh god Nicky.”

Meanwhile back at the Dorough apartment things weren’t exactly as calm as they should be. Yeah, Joshua was still fast asleep, but Howie was still going on a wild rampage.
“I’m not eating Brussels sprouts!” Howie exclaimed, slamming the refrigerator door.
Vanessa looked at her fiancé, totally confused at what was happening. “What the hell has gotten into you?” she hissed, not wanting to start fighting with Aaron and Hailie just down the hall.
“Is it so wrong that I don’t want Brussels sprouts?”
“No of course not, but you’ve been a royal pain in the ass ever since you found out we were babysitting. Since when do you not like to help your friends?” Vanessa asked, honestly confused at what was going on in Howie’s head.
Howie sighed, and flopped down in a chair. “I just wanted to spend time with you, that’s all.”
Vanessa walked over to Howie and stood between his legs. “Tonight, I promise to spend some very special attention to you, Howie.” She said, smirking as her hand trailed down Howie’s chest before moving back to work on dinner.

They were just sitting down to dinner when the phone started to ring.
“What the hell!” Howie rolled his eyes and got up to answer the phone.
Hailie looked at he uncle Howie with her mouth open wide. “I think uncle Howie is pregnant now, he’s acting just like papa.”
This caused Aaron to choke on a piece of his chicken as he started to crack up laughing, leaving Hailie very confused.
Vanessa didn’t have a chance to comment on what Hailie said before Howie came back to the table. “Everything ok?”
Howie nodded, but smiled a little. “That was Kevin; Kris went into labor a few hours ago. He didn’t want us to worry about coming down right now, just said that he would call once the baby is born.”
Hailie shrieked and clapped her hands. “YAY! Another baby!”
Vanessa smiled and went back to eating her dinner. Images of something else going through he heard when Hailie said those words.

“What room did you say the were in?” Justin asked Nick as they walked down the maternity ward of the hospital.
“306” Nick said, looking at the numbers on the doors. “Here we go.”
Justin smiled at Nick. “Seems like we were just here, doesn’t it?”
Nick smiled back and nodded. “Sure does.” Opening the door he poked his head inside to see Kristin and Kevin sitting on the bed together. Slightly surprised not to see the rest of the clan already gathered around.
“Hey guys, come on in.” Kevin said smiling big, looking down at the baby in his arms. “I want you guys to meet Christopher Hadley Richardson.”
Justin was at Kevin’s side in an instant. In seconds he was busy cooing over the little baby.
Nick laughed and shook his head. Walking over to congratulate the new mother. “You would think now that we have our own screaming bundle of joy he wouldn’t be as fazed by babies.”
Kristin laughed, but quickly held her stomach and groaned. “Why didn’t anybody tell me I had given birth to a hippo?”
Justin turned to Kristin and giggled. “I’m glad I didn’t have to worry about the whole natural birth shit, I mean think about giving birth outa my ass or something.”
Kevin groaned and shook his head. “That so wasn’t a mental picture I want in my head.”
“I can agree with you there Kev.” AJ said from the doorway where he and Marshall had just entered.
Everybody turned to them and smiled.
“Hey guys.” Nick said, walking over to give the new members of the room a big hug. “It’s almost your turn, you ready Aje?” he asked as he rubbed AJ’s stomach.
Marshall slapped Nick’s hand away and smirked. “Hey aren’t fucking Buhda Nicky.”
Nick glared at Marshall and walked back to where he had been before.

By the time Howie and Vanessa showed up at the hospital it was late, and they were happy to find out they could return the children to their rightful owners.
“Josh didn’t give you too much trouble did he?” Justin asked, worried that his son had been too much of a pain.
Vanessa smiled and shook her head. “Nope, actually after the first hour or so he was a perfect angel.”
“Oh, in that case you can keep him. He’s never like that for us.” Nick laughed.
“So, we’ve got another August birthday in the family now. You ready to share your month with little Chris here?” AJ asked, looking at his best friend.
Howie made a face at AJ. “Not like I care, I’m not celebrating birthday’s anymore.”
“That’s a crock of shit, D. You’re going to have a birthday party you won’t ever forget.” AJ said almost jumping up and down, despite his very pregnant stomach.
Howie closed his eyes and groaned. “That’s exactly what I’m afraid of.”
