In 1983, the Queensland police offered a reward of $20,000 in the unsolved case of missing West Australian backpacker Anthony John Jones, known as Tony Jones. Last sighted in Townsville in 1982, Tony vanished without trace. His disappearance remains an unsolved mystery. The reward now stands at $250,000.
