Something
to think about...
It's interesting to note that this particular
lunar eclipse the evening of January 20th marks a Jewish date back in 1 BCE when Herod
(Epitomy of Edom and the enemies of Israel) murdered two well-respected rabbis for
standing up for the Torah and against idolatry in the land. In my book Signs in the
Heavens, you may read pp. 106-113. Also you may study Josephus, Antiquities, Book 17,
(17.6.4), section 167.
There could very well be a connection between these events in 1 BCE and what this
"red-moon" eclipse may portend for the coming days and months in Israel.
Consider that the Pope of Rome (Edom, as linked to Herod), will arrive in Israel in
March 2000 to make an overture of "peace" with Israel, at about the same time
that after the death of King Herod, his son Archelaus took office in 1 BCE and arrived in
March of that year to also make an overture of "peace" with Israel, but then
began his slaughter of thousands of religious Jews in that year, requiring the
first-ever public cancellation of Pesach in Jerusalem. |
