Dr. Richard Eby dies, visits heaven,
and returns with a startling message!
NOTE: Dr. Eby went to be with Jesus
on December 26, 2002.
Please see info at the end of this report.
This is a summary of the amazing story of Dr. Richard E. Eby, former obstetrician and professor. His full story is in his several books (available by author name at Christian bookstores).
Long before he was born, when his mother was only age 11, she became gravely ill and died. An Indian Chief, who had been led to the Lord years earlier by her father, visited and said "My Great White Spirit tells me that Little Girl will live if you let me cover her with sacred medicine. She will wake up in morning, drink water at noon, then walk at sundown." The father agreed, and the chief applied his concoction to the corpse. At sunrise the body came alive!
A few years later, as a young wife, she was told she had "withered organs" and could not have children because of the effects of her previous "death" experience. She prayed Hannah's prayer for a son whom she would dedicate to God (1 Samuel 1). She later became pregnant.
But big problem: at her sixth month of pregnancy, she miscarried a dead fetus. The doctor laid the body aside to await autopsy later that night. When he returned later and unwrapped the hospital towel which held the fetus, the form started breathing! In panic, he ordered the mother (with a shoe box containing the gasping infant -- this was many years before existing technology) to go home. Once there, she besought the Lord to instruct her daily as to how to care for this baby. God did. That miraculous baby was Dr. Richard Eby!
Now amazingly, Dr. Eby himself has been a miracle. In July 1972 he fell off a balcony in Chicago and died. Jesus took him and showed him heaven. He relates: "To see without my glasses a long valley filled with perfect horticultural specimens quietly emitting their appropriate colors; to hear heavenly music surrounding me, then to sense a permeating aroma of exquisite fragrance -- it all seemed impossibly ecstatic. I gasped. The new body was painless, seemingly made out of abundant joy. I discovered that it reacted instantly to anything I thought -- no
delays. The mind had no sense of fear; instead a total peace despite the newness and suddenness of landing there. I was more alive and awake in that glowing body than seemed possible. Everything was bathed in shadowless light, with a baptism of love. Then it hit me! I WAS AT HOME! MY REAL HOME! I BELONGED HERE where the presence of Jesus enfolded me." A few hours later Dr. Eby came alive, a story in itself.
In 1977 Jesus appeared to him at Lazarus' tomb in Israel and said he had more to show him -- that He wanted to show him what hell was like, so that he would go and tell others about it all. (He described Jesus' eyes as blazing "with laser-like brilliance of love, power and righteousness.")
The description of hell was horrifying -- total terror, and one moment seemed like an eternity. With insane laughter, a thousand screaming, spider-sized demons mocked and taunted him with obscenities for believing their lies instead of God's truths. There was a pervasive, filthy stench. Deafening decibels of heavy metal voodoo sounds filled the place with a thousand, frenzied rock and roll bodies in epileptic-type seizures at the music. I could go on, but enough of that description.
Jesus said that He was showing him all this so that he would go back and tell others. Jesus said to him: "You are to go tell them! Tell them! Tell them! I have brought you here to reveal to you my commission . . . I am returning soon to receive my Body of believers, and I want you to tell people about those things I showed you in heaven and hell. I want you to show them the choice they must make between Me . . .and Satan. I will return for you and my Body of believers before you can complete this commission. I am returning soon!"
The 87-88-year-old (in the year 2000) Dr. Eby left his medical practice and has spent all his time telling others. He is still alive. Through his book, Dr. Eby has told me. Now, I am telling you. Please tell others.
Footnote:
Dr. Eby went to be with Jesus on December 26,
2002. Just three days earlier, I believe with God's amazing timing, I shared a
message titled, "What did God really say to Dr. Eby," which I belive
sheds slight on Eby's testimony. Below is an excerpt:

I spoke with Ron yesterday (Rev. Ron Patterson, long-time close friend of Dr. Eby) and learned that a year or so ago, before Eby's health deteriorated so badly, Ron had a chance to sit down and talk with him at length. Ron asked him to repeat his experiences to him, and precisely what he actually heard the Lord say.
Eby told Ron that the Lord told him that He is going to use his life span as an indicator, or an example, so that people will know when He is coming. Ron says that Eby always interpreted that as meaning the rapture will happen before he dies. But he asked Ron, "What do you think it means?"
At the time, Ron said he was not sure, but in the last few days he believes God may be giving him some new insight. Ron says that he is not certain, but because of the wording Dr. Eby described, he thinks it is a distinct possibility that Dr. Eby's life is like that of Methuselah, the son of Enoch. There are different possible meanings to Methuselah's name, but one meaning is, "When he dies, judgment." Methuselah's life was an indicator of God's coming judgment. This judgment was delayed as long as Methuselah was alive, but as soon as he died, God's judgment came via the Flood (from which Noah and his family were saved, in a type of the rapture, as with Lot).
Ron believes it may be possible that based on the exact wording Dr. Eby reports that he heard, he may not live to see the rapture but the end of his life may be a major sign of the rapture and judgment just afterward.
Ron says that in his books, Dr. Eby honestly gave the best possible description and explanation for his experience as he understood it at the time. Again, it is not clear, and it is possible that the rapture may occur before Dr. Eby dies, Ron says. But if he does die, Ron emphasizes, we will know that we are really "at the door," and it will confirm the new understanding just described.
We should be prepared for any eventuality. I have not spoken with Dr. Eby and I do not know anyone who has, but I did see a report the other day that his health has further deteriorated badly and he may not have much longer.
By the way, the Bible Encyclopedia says that Methuselah was the oldest man of whom we have any record. This very ancient man lived before the Flood, and died at the age of 969 years, in the year of the Flood (Gen. 521-27; 1 Chr. 13). This fact, plus the possible meaning of his name, suggests that Methuselah's very godly father, Enoch, received a prophecy from God when his son was born, thus the name. Methuselah's great age may be further evidence of God's "long-suffering...in the days of Noah" (1 Peter 320; 2 Peter 39). Methuselah's name is mentioned seven times in the Bible
