Gold and our current calendars

Dear friends:

Here is some new and fascinating information about gold and the current year 2000!

First, a brief review of past material. We are currently in Jewish year 5760 until September 30, 2000. In previous messages I have pointed out some of the amazing mysteries of the number 5760 and its possible prophetic significance. One thing is that there "just happens" to be 5760 grains in one pound of gold. Gold is symbolic of royalty and the coming King. The refinement of gold is also symbolic of our own refinement and purification. Also interestingly, in many meetings all over the world where Jesus Christ is intensely praised and worshipped as Lord, gold dust, gold flakes and gold teeth are supernaturally appearing. I have seen it. Facetiously, some say the white horse of Revelation 19 is anxiously kicking its hoofs against the golden streets, eager for the King to mount and ride, causing gold dust to fall. Others say angels are sweeping the streets of heaven, getting ready for the Bride, and some of the dust is falling on us! But seriously, the gold is no doubt a prophetic message from God. He may be giving the gold as symbolic of this final purification currently taking place.

(Revelation 19 is also where it says, "the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white" (19:7-8) This speaks of our purification, the removing of spots and wrinkles from the Bride, but ultimately not by the Bride's efforts, but by the only spot remover that really works -- the blood of Jesus!)

But here is the purpose of this message today...

Today a friend faxed me a fascinating article by Bill Cloud from Perry Stone's "Voice of Evangelism" magazine. I can only extract a portion, but it is profound. I have a lot of respect for that ministry and their research.

Cloud says that gold begins to melt at 1947 degrees Fahrenheit! Of course, 1947 is the year the U.N. voted to establish the reborn state of Israel according to many prophecies and a major end-time sign!!! However, I researched it further and found that when you convert from the Celsius scale of 1064.33 degrees to Fahrenheit and round it (1064.33 X 1.8 + 32), the number actually comes to 1948! This is the actual year the nation of Israel was officially born!!! (There is a slight variance among sources for the melting point of gold but the Celsius number above seems the most consistent. Another method, converting from the Kelvin scale, comes out to 1064.43 C, but that still converts and rounds to 1948. )

But that's not all! Cloud goes on to say that while gold begins to melt at 1947 (1948) degrees, it "wouldn't completely melt until the heat reached approximately 2000 degrees F." If true, that is astonishing.

Note the date implications! The years 1947 or 1948 -- and the year 2000, which overlaps with the Jewish year 5760, the number of grains in a pound of gold!!! This confirms my conviction and that of many that the final countdown for the church began with the birth of Israel. Will the countdown end in "approximately" 2000?

As to the countdown and final end-time clock beginning in 1948, many signs can be traced to mid-century, including: (1) the precipitious decline in Western culture and moral values, (2) earthquake statistics, (3) and the raising up of the first major worldwide evangelistic and parachurch ministries such as Billy Graham, for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

Cloud said the purification is complete at "approximately" (not precisely) 2000 degrees. Will our purification be complete in "approximately" the year 2000? Or the prophetic and overlapping Jewish year 5760? Will the heavenly "spot" remover, the blood of Jesus, remove the final spots at about that time?
