Amazing gematria discovery!

E-mail friend Eric Casagrande has some fascinating input on the article by Jerry Grenough I posted this morning.  Here is an excerpt:

From Eric:

Yesterday, Jerry Grenough wrote a fine article on the end-times, in which he pointed out that the Israeli Knesset issued a proclamation on January 23, 1950, which restored Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Then of course, there was the gamma ray burst, back on January 23, 1999, that gave off the largest display of light, energy, and power known to man. In fact, it has been stated by the science and astronomy world, that this gamma burst gave off more light, energy, and power, than the entire universe combined! This would thereby make this "power source" greater than everything in the entire universe, combined!

As a note of interest, here is a discovery I made recently, concerning the nation of Israel, and the end-times in which we live:

"And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig
tree, and all the trees;
When they now shoot forth, YE see and KNOW of
your own selves THAT SUMMER IS NOW NIGH AT HAND.
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to
pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at
hand.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass
away, till all be fulfilled."
- Luke 21: 29-32

Note: The original text has the (CAPITALIZED, BOLD words) running together, without any interruptions.

"Ye know that summer is now nigh at hand" = (eta + delta + eta) + (epsilon + gamma + gamma + upsilon + sigma) + (tau + omicron) + (theta + epsilon + rho + omicron + sigma) + (epsilon + sigma + tau + iota + nu) = 20 + 611 + 370 + 384 + 565 = 1950!!!

Eric's discovery that the gematria of this significant phrase equals 1950, the very year Jerusalem was declared the capital of Jerusalem, is absolutely amazing!

For further information on the possible significance of the January 23, 1950 Jerusalem Declaration and how it may be the clue to understanding Sir Isaac Newton's interpretation of Danial 9:25, see my February 1, 2000 article here.
