14th century prophecy

Some may have seen the below already. I discovered, or rediscovered, it on the Internet the other day.

It is recorded that St. John of the Cleft Rock, a 14th Century prophet, stated, “It is said that twenty centuries after the Incarnation of the Word, the Beast in its turn shall become man. About the year 2000 A.D., Antichrist will reveal himself to the world.”

Some checking revealed that this is a quote directly out of the book "Catholic Prophecy" by Yves Dupont (Tan Publishing).

Based on scholarly evidence of the birth of Jesus and "the Incarnation of the Word," probably in 2-3 B.C., we have just passed "the twenty centuries." Note that the words say "about the year 2000," not necessarily the exact year 2000. But obviously, it could actually also be the year 2000.

What makes this especially interesting and possibly a divinely inspired prophecy are the many other signs, indications and revelations that point to this same small window of time in which we currently live.
