"Time is very, very short"

This is a message I received on May 17, 2000:

Faithful Friends and Family,

We received the following message yesterday from a friend. Please
read it completely with an open heart. We agree with its message.
The global conditions we are witnessing lead us to also conclude that
time is VERY, VERY short. All the signs, particularly in reference to
final peace negotiations in Israel and the status of Jerusalem, are
coming together quickly. Something wonderful is going to happen
soon! Ask yourself this question: If what these Christians say about
the second coming of Jesus Christ is true, am I ready for His return?
Think about it and pray to our Father God for guidance.

Dear family and friends,

During the early morning hours of May 10th I had a dream. My first
conscious thought in the dream was that the Lord Jesus was about to
speak and that I needed to listen carefully and be prepared to
repeat the message. Then, the Lord began to speak saying "Time is
VERY short. If you have anything against someone, make it right.
If you harbor a lack of forgiveness in your heart toward anyone,
forgive them and then seek forgiveness from me. Compel those who
know me to come closer. Compel those who do not know me to COME
NOW for time is VERY, VERY SHORT."

It, to me, is a brief but powerful message which I have taken very
seriously. I have sent it out to each of you because you are
family and friends that I care about and love. I want to urge each
of you who know the Lord to draw closer to Him, spend more time
reading His word and getting to know Him better. For those of you
who have received this and you don't have a relationship with the
Lord Jesus, may I urge you to ask Him into your heart today. There
truly is a God shaped vacuum in each of us which only He can fill.
You need only to acknowledge that you have sinned in this life, ask
the Lord Jesus to forgive you, and then believe in your heart that
He is Lord and that He forgave ALL the sin in your life the moment
you asked.

That's the beginning of a relationship with Jesus. From that
point, find a church that teaches the truth - The Bible is the
inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God;
there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the
Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost; in the deity of our
Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His
miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily
resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in
His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule
a thousand years; in the blessed hope - - the rapture of the
Church at Christ's coming; the only means of being cleansed from
sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of
Christ; regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for
personal salvation; in water baptism by immersion; the redemptive
work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in
answer to believing prayer; the baptism in the Holy Spirit
according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it; in the
sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the
Christian is enabled to live a holy life; in the resurrection of
both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the
other to everlasting damnation.
