There are ministries and there are ministries, but one of the most anointed ministries I know of is that of old friends Peter and Christine Darg, Daystar International.   Peter and Christine were formerly Middle East correspondents for the 700 Club and now live in England, ministering mostly in the Middle East, to both Jews and Arabs.   They boldly preach the Word of Christ, sometimes in dangerous situations, and God confirms the Word.  They are truly modern-day examples of Mark 16:20: "And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following."  They see many conversions, healings and miracles,
just like in the book of Acts.

Below is an excerpt from the January 2001 Daystar International newsletter, by Christine Darg:

As we enter the 21st Century, the coming of the Lord is nearer than when we
first believed.  Prophetic events are overtaking us, and we must finish
every vision the Lord has entrusted to us…

…A British pastor wrote, "We are continually amazed by what you achieve
under impossible circumstances.  Few others would even consider starting
what you have been doing for years!  Keep it up!…

(Later.)  …Currently we're working on a new ministry video that is going to
be dynamite!  "Rees Howells: Lessons on Intercession" profiles the famous
Welsh coal miner who became a Revivalist in Africa and the greatest prayer
warrior of World War 2 (and one of the mightiest in Church history).  He
was surely an apostle of intercession.

Much of the intercession that the Holy Spirit led him to do involved the
ministry of healing.  I am simply riveted every time I read Rees Howells'
biography "The Intercessor" and how he prayed through to victory a TB
patient in the advanced stages of that dreaded disease (of which there was
no cure).

While on the island of Madeira with the patient, Mr. Howells informed a
local missionary, "The patient is very ill, but the Lord has told me He is
going to heal him in a month."  The missionary exclaimed, "How can you say
such a thing?  You know it can never happen, when both his lungs are nearly
gone.  It has never happened before!"  Rees Howells' answered, "It has
never happened because of unbelief."

Incidentally, the man was gloriously healed and became a minister of the
Gospel.  Later, when the disease tried to come upon Rees Howells because of
his close contact with the patient (Howells began to cough up blood), he
noticed that his inward peace was undisturbed.  After several days, the
symptoms disappeared, but he had not panicked.  That's what the devil wants
us to do with symptoms.

HOW NOT TO PANIC!

I want you to notice that Rees Howells' peace was undisturbed.  I have
found that when you abide in the Word of God and appropriate the healing
Scriptures as often as possible, and hopefully on a daily basis, a peace
that passes all understanding keeps your heart and your mind in Christ
Jesus.  And, like Rees Howells in the above incident, you are simply not
disturbed by evil reports such as sickness.  The peace of God is one of the
most wonderful aspects of being led by the Spirit.  The peace of God gives
you an inward witness that, for example, a certain sickness is not unto death.

The peace of God in your heart will also help you to stick to a certain
course of action.  Many times when I am in potentially dangerous situations
in the Middle East, I press ahead because the peace of God has not left me.
It's like a form of guidance.  If, however, my peace is disturbed, I have
to make further inquiries from the Lord for direction.

In 2001, Satanic forces will challenge every Christian family with some
sort of attack.  And the Lord wants us to be ready, especially in the area
of health, with the sword of the Spirit.  I don't care what the diagnosis
is that you may hear pronounced over yourself or a loved one, Jesus is
greater than any sickness or disease.  Do not be overcome by unbelief in
2001.  The Lord told me recently that too many leaders and believers were
falling ill and that if we don't press through for some victories, the
healing message will be severely damaged.

The Lord requires us in 2001 to, "contend for the faith," (Jude 3) and part
of that faith which we must contend is the healing Gospel that "by His
stripes we were healed!"

Do you know why there are so few healing evangelists in the earth today?
To preach this message is very costly.  I mean I have to study the healing
Scriptures and imbibe of the spirits of great men of faith every day.  And
there is a lot of opposition to the healing ministry, too.  People are
always asking "why."  But God has shown me that the healing message of the
Gospel is our secret weapon when preaching, especially in Israel, because
they are such a wounded people.

When God said to the Jews, "I will heal your wounds," He will do it through
you and me!  Isn't that marvelous that he wants us to be coworkers with Him!
