Update on the 19-year-old son's dream

Dear friends:

A couple of days ago I shared about the 19-year-old son of my doctor friend who is sometimes given supernatural information about what is going to happen and on the morning of September11 who had the dream of disaster. For purposes of anonymity, I called the son, Bob, and the father, John. Since people have asked, be assured that I have known John for several years and have spoken with him many times. He is totally reliable.

I had never spoken with the son -- until today, that is. This afternoon I was able to reach him at college on his cell phone and we had a wonderful conversation. He confirmed everything that his dad had told me, and then some.

It had slipped my memory that he was the one who had a miraculous healing from cancer in 1998. I now remember praying for him. He said that while in the hospital on Christmas Eve in 1998, "I was having a dream and God was talking to me and said, ‘Tomorrow, you’ll be fine.’ I remember waking up that night, drowsy from the drugs, and I told my dad about it. Then the next morning I woke up and my pain had disappeared. The x-rays showed that in a matter of a week the cancer had totally disappeared. It was really a miracle." (He said the doctors believed it must have been a misdiagnosis, which is often the case when the medical profession is faced with a miracle they cannot explain with their science.)

Bob elaborated on the September 11 dream. He said he was looking up in the sky and talking with someone, but he does not know who the someone was. He said it could have been Jesus, or an angel, but he doesn't know. He said, "There was a red meteor coming towards the earth. I was looking up at the sky while I was talking, but not looking at the person, and thought, ‘Oh, my God, what’s going on?’ The person said, ‘There’s a meteor coming to destroy the earth.’ I asked, ‘How much time do we have left?’ He said, ‘Only about 3 1/2 months.’ All I remember hearing later on was, ‘We’re all gone in November.’"

Bob described another dream he had about two weeks ago. "I was looking above and there were seven warheads being launched (six in a circle and one in the middle). Again, I was talking with someone and I asked, ‘Is it nuclear?" And they said, ‘No, it’s biological, or chemical.’ They told me three places where they would hit (not the other four). One was Newfoundland, and I asked, ‘Why Newfoundland?’" The answer he was given was that this was the closest place in North America they could reach. But it wiped out the whole northeastern coast.

Bob continues, "When I woke up I looked up on the map and found that was true, but I did not know that previously. Another place was Uzbekistan, which I had never heard of before in my life, but two days later I was watching the news and saw that U.S. forces were moving to Uzbekistan (in the former Soviet Union). The third one was Saudi Arabia." (He has no insight at all about the timing of this missile attack in his dream.)

Bob and I discussed the possible meaning of the "3 1/2 months" versus "November." He does not know the answer but thinks maybe the rapture will be in November and the other event later. (By the way, 3 1/2 months from September 11 comes out to exactly Christmas day, 2001!)

Bob says, "You've got to understand, I never, ever dream this stuff. This was really odd. My dreams are usually just normal dreams. The baseball things (described in my previous message) are just gut feelings. They just come out of my mouth without even thinking. I don't get many dreams or anything, but when I do they are 100 percent accurate. I don't miscall anything. It’s weird."

He went on to say that in the past, "Dad would always tell me that according to this and that, we might be raptured during such and such a time, but I am always thinking that I doubt it and I never got that feeling -- but that morning (September 11), I had the biggest feeling, just like I was about to call a baseball game, you know. That morning I woke up in a cold sweat, and literally two seconds later my big brother in the fraternity runs in and says we are being attacked. The screams I heard were just like in my dream."

Bob has no further insights and has shared all he knows. Anything else would be pure speculation. But he said he would let me know if he has any further experience.

Friends, I cannot tell you with certainty that this young man has heard from God, but I take him seriously. Whichever, with all the unprecedented things going on in the world right now, there has never been a more important time in the history to pray as the Lord Jesus told us to pray in Luke 21:36: "Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."
