Information on Alleged Iragi Troop Movement in Jordan

The following is an excerpt from a report by Jerry Golden in Jerusalem.
The Debka File via WorldNetDaily reported Iraqi troop movement inside of Jordan. It has not been verified and no other news source in the world has covered it.

There are lots of reports going out over the Internet that say that Iraq has moved its troops into Jordan and that the Jordanian Air Force has already engaged them. That Israel has dispatched high-ranking people to the King of Jordan, and that the secret pack between Jordan and Israel for Israel to defend Jordan against Saddam has been put into place. I have made lots of phone calls today and did some serious checking; it simply is not true. If Iraq were moving troops across Jordan right now; we would be in war right now.
But what is true, is the Iraqi’s have moved troops up near the Jordan Border (again) and the Syrian Border and some reliable sources say, even in the Beka Valley in Lebanon. There is no doubt that Iraq wants to start this war. Right now they are very busy with the United States and the British air attacks in the no-fly zones. And if you look at the northern no fly zone takes care of most of the Syrian – Iraqi border, but the Jordan border is open for them.

Dear friendsRegarding the disputed Iraqi military incursion into Jordan, I have just received a report from a friend with a close contact very high in Jordanian circles. This Jordanian contact reports that the story IS, in fact, true, and that there is a conscious effort on the part of the news media to suppress the story.
(If this had been an Israeli incursion into a neighboring Arab nation it would have been screaming front-page headlines.)

Dear FriendsI just received a telephone call from a friend who has a contact with a very high and independent source.
The DEBKAfile report said that there were 1,000 to 1,500 crack Iraqi commandos who had infiltrated into Jordan. My friend's source confirms the DEBKAfile report but says that there has now been a second wave and the total is now 10,000 to 18,000 Iraqi troops.
