The days of man?

Today I received the Vendyl Jones Research Institute latest newsletter (November). It is contained on his Web site at http//www.vendyljones.org.il. You will probably find the lead article very interesting. It is titled, "The Days To Come Have Just Arrived."

Jones is an archeologist and researcher who does most of his work in Israel. Unfortunately, he does not believe that Jesus is the Messiah, but he does have some interesting insights into Jewish history and Scriptures. I have spoken to him on the telephone a couple of times and he seems like a very nice fellow. I am burdened for his soul, so please pray with me that God would open his eyes. Jesus says that no one comes to Him unless the Father draws him. Let us pray the Father would draw Vendyl Jones. Amen.

I cannot include much here, and I cannot vouch for his calendar calculations, as I am not a calendar expert. But look at the whole article and judge it for yourself. Here are some things he says

Jones summarizes 18th century Rabbi David Azulai's explanations of the Mikvah and egg volumes as Jewish time measurement, showing that Jewish year 5760, just concluded, marked the end of the Days of Man.

Jones says, "The eggs of time were cracked with the outbreak of the recent bloody intifada in Israel at the end of 5760. In fact, it occurred just a week before Rosh HaShanah 5761. Within less than a year, Amalek struck the World Trade Center in NYC and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.... The Days of Man were completed on March 21, 2001, which was the end of the year 5760 on the Jubilee calendar. The present year 5761 is a Sabbatical year... the seventh Sabbatical Year since 1951, and therefore on March 21, 2002, the First Jubilee of Israel's Third Commonwealth will begin..." (He is obviously using the sacred, not civil, calendar for some of his assertions.)

Jones makes this fascinating comparison:

"Terror struck America on Tuesday,
September 11, 2001.
That was exactly SEVEN days before
Rosh HaShanah 5762!
One year earlier,
the intifada began exactly SEVEN days
before Rosh HaShanah 5761!"

(Strange. Coincidence? I doubt it.)
