Ex-PLO assassin!

And other interesting information from Barbara Richmomd

Barbara Richmond recently shared the below fascinating stories with me. I look upon it as prophecy related, and am reminded of the Holy Spirit’s words, "Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish, for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you" (Acts 1341).

The Lord gives Barbara some incredible encounters. Recently she was in meetings in California where she was speaking and the pastor’s wife came up to her with a tall, blonde lady and said, "I want to meet somebody who has been wanting to meet you for a long time. This is Rosemary Schindler, the niece of Oskar Schindler (of Schindler's List fame)." Barbara says that Mrs. Schindler is a born-again, Spirit-filled Christian. She has a foundation through which she carries on the work of Oskar Schindler, but from a biblical, Christian perspective. The foundation does holocaust remembrance events, minister to survivors, etc.

In that same meeting, the pastor’s wife came up again and said, "I want you to meet this other couple, and gave their names (obviously Arabic names, which surprised Barbara, because it was a Jewish roots conference). The wife was a relative of King Abdullah of Jordan! Barbara says that this lady is a born-again, Spirit-filled, tongue-talking Arab!

She says that she had very significant conversations with both of those unusual ladies.

The next week in Colorado, Barbara was meeting with a Middle East-born, Arabic Christian man (with another incredible story I am not free to share now), who brought with him another obviously Arabic man whom he introduced to Barbara as "an-ex PLO assassin."

This ex-PLO assassin was born in Gaza and raised in Saudi Arabia. He joined the Fatah (PLO terrorist group) and was a radical Islamic fundamentalist. He hated Jews, he hated Israel, and he looked for every opportunity to do them harm. He has been in America for awhile and has been followed by the FBI, the CIA and Israeli intelligence for years.

In 1992, a business associate, a Christian, looked at him and said, "If you ever want to have peace, you are going to have to learn to love a Jew.

The terrorist was outraged and replied, "What are you saying to me?" But on this day he told Barbara, "There was something in that man’s life I couldn't get away from. I couldn't sleep. Finally, I said to the man, ‘I’ve got to talk to you.’"

He did talk, and the Christian business associate led him to Christ. He became born-again, filled with the Spirit and began to speak in tongues even though he didn't know anything about it or what he was doing!

The associate said to him, "You've just become a Christian."

The Arab relied, "What does that mean?" But he began to read the Word and in just a few days, he said, "I was looking for the hatred in my heart and I couldn't find it anymore. It just wasn't there."

Since 1993, this former hate-filled Moslem terrorist has taken a period of time every year, he gets into his car, and he goes out on the road to different parts of the U.S. -- visiting Orthodox synagogues! He goes in, gives his Arabic name, and says, "I am a former PLO assassin." About this time he says the rabbis begin to freak out. He says, "I am here to ask forgiveness from you and of the Jewish people and my past life because, you see, in 1992 I gave my life to Jesus Christ and Jesus taught me to love you, Israel and the Jewish people."

Barbara says, "At this point the rabbis are going "Tilt, tilt, tilt!!! They don't know what to do with this guy. But a couple of them have allowed him to address the synagogue." He told them, "I used to want to kill you, but Jesus changed me, and now I love Israel and I love you, and will you please forgive me?"

Barbara says, "Now is God on the move, or what?"

I think He is.
