Self-worth

(This has nothing directly to do with prophecy, but it may be a blessing to you.  Or indirectly, maybe it does have to do with prophecy in that the Lord wants us to be established in this truth before He takes us out.)

Dear friends

The other morning the Lord gave me this for anyone who may be struggling with their own self-worth.

I was meditating on the concept of "worth" learned in a graduate course in economics many years ago. The worth, or value, of something in the marketplace is based on what someone is willing to pay for it, no more and no less. Perceived or intrinsic value means nothing -- only what someone else is willing to pay.

What are you worth in the cosmic marketplace?

The answer You are worth what God was willing to pay for you. And what did He pay? His own blood! In the veins of Jesus flowed God’s own blood, and He paid it for you. Your value is so great it is immeasurable.

"Ye are bought with a price" (1 Corinthians 721).
