Last days apostasy
Dear friends
We know from the Word of God that our Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected and rose bodily from the grave. The disciples found an empty tomb. He later ascended bodily into heaven. This truth is the cornerstone of the Christian faith.
We also know that, "The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons" ( 1 Timothy 41).
(Now, the below is paraphrasing a report today from HeChose72@cs.com.)
The below report from United Press International may be a hint of how these "deceiving spirits" are preparing the world for increased apostasy. When reading UPI, keep in mind that it is owned by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon and his Unification Church. (Moon also owns The Washington Times.) Moon's Divine Principle teaching states that Jesus, as well as Adam and Eve, failed to do what God desired. Jesus was supposed to marry and bear perfect children, but was killed before accomplishing his mission. Because of this, Moon has said that a "Lord of the Second Advent" must come into the world to provide the physical salvation Jesus could not deliver. This "second" Christ, Moon says, will hail from South Korea. Moon's followers believe that Moon himself is that messiah. ( More about Moon http//www.newcovpub.com/unification/wfwp3.html). Clearly, Moon has the spirit of antichrist.

"As if Kashmir didn't have enough trouble, American archaeologist Suzanne Olsson is campaigning to open the Rozabal shrine in Srinagar, supposedly the resting place of Muslim saint Yuza Azaf. She wants to conduct carbon dating and DNA tests to see if it could house the remains of Jesus Christ. There is a long tradition that the Holy Family ended up in Kashmir, and Olsson has already opened one shrine at the Murree hill station in Pakistan under the supervision of Pakistani archaeologists. Murree is believed to be the resting place of Jesus' mother, Mary (Marium). "The exhumed remains have been sent for the DNA testing and the report is awaited," Olsson told Sunday's Greater Kashmir newspaper. "Now Rozabal holds the key. If the remains there are sent for testing and then tallied with the results of the Murree project, it will either establish the link between the two shrines as being of similar origin and thus authenticate the Marium-Jesus theory or prove it wrong for good." The custodians of the Rozabal shrine are outraged. Olsson has now appealed to Kashmir's chief minister Farooq Abdullah."
(Signs of the times, for sure.)
