The following is an excerpt of an interesting email received today from John MacHaffie, an
American engineer currently working on a project in South America.

I am constantly on the internet checking the faith forums and the latest news even when on
a business road trip. When I check the internet cafes at the airports, I purposely leave
the URL's on the machine hoping for someone else to pick it up. Me is a naughty boy!
Current news events is like watching something I already know. My spirit has been
anticipating these events 20 years ago in almost the exact same sequence as it is now
happening. What is next?
I also now sense many are dropping their Rapture Watch and saying "yea sure"
especially when all these rapture dates have passed and gone with nothing happening. My
own faith position has also been recently been challenged by a post tribber who really put
me on the ropes -- but I survived a wee bit tarnished but still on the Rapture Watch.
I am the thick headed guy that challenged God & Jesus Christ some 30 years ago - - -
Yea I know - you not suppose to do this stuff but I did. Well some 30 years ago I said
"if You are God and Jesus Christ is your Son put in exactly 35 cents in the phone
machine located over there by the bookstore". A quarter and a dime was found and this
changed my life. Many times I have challenged our wonderful Jehova God, many times He
answered. There were times when only Jehova God and my 'Big Brother' Jesus were around to
save me and They did.
I was also very depressed about our Rapture not happening - is it for real or my own
rationalization for my feelings.
I went down on my knees on Wednesday Evening May 29, 2002, asking God for some revelation,
a sign or whatever to help me about this Rapture belief - Is is true or what? After my
tearful prayers and asking Him for a sign, I fell into a blissful sleep. My dream - maybe
vision - I dunno as I am not worthy of a vision, was spectacular. I vividly saw and felt
myself raised vertically right out of my body flying upright at about a 80 degree angle to
the earth. As I went up I looked around and saw the most beautiful 'bright' blue sky and
flown above the most beautiful sandy beaches, aqua blue waters with christine clear surf.
Look like the Exumas in the Bahamas. I was quite excited to say the least. I was amazed at
how warm and welcoming I felt.
I then was headed up to some grey ceiling clouds which as I got closer --- I felt a strong
feeling. Not a voice, but just definitely a message (like telepathy) --- "the Rapture
Is True and time is almost Now". Got to within several feet of the clouds and then I
woke up!
My dream or vision was quite vivid and immediately tried to recall the events as I saw
them.
I immediately wanted to post this on the internet to share but had my doubts. Dreams and
visions are for not for us 'logic lead' engineers and tough 'John Wayne type' guys. Prove
it - no I can't. Exposing myself to ridicule is not my ideal of fun but I felt compelled
to share this Real Happening.
I am sending this to you Jim Bramlett and Mark as others will be able to appreciate this
message. Especially to those like myself who are wee bit depressed with all these so
called rapture dates that have passed.
Be advised to all - - - that it is our wonderful precious Jehova's God Call per His timing
not ours. I for sure am just a pebble of the sand in this universe. My existence and faith
is a Blessed Gift which I thank Jehova God every day.
We are to know the season but not the exact time of His Call. Our need with current events
especially now is to be continuously on a Rapture Watch.
We are just along for the ride, I pray.
And what a ride it will be - I believe I saw a preview and it was awesome.

Confirming experiences reported
My above report about engineer John MacHaffie's rapture-confirming experience on Wednesday, May 29 triggered two confirming reports from others.
First, Debbie Baumgartner reports that THE VERY SAME NIGHT of John's experience, May 29, "I prayed and said to the Lord that if it was really was coming close to please show me so I could pray more accurately for these end times." That very same night she had a dream that indicated that we are a "hairs-breath" away.
Second, Jenny Scott reports the following:
"I was so excited to read John MacHaffie's experience. I immediately rang my sister Fran and got her out of bed. She had a very similar experience last year. In fact she has had two experiences about the imminence of the rapture.
"The first was she had vivid dream about a huge silk flag on her bedroom wall on which was a large warrior angel on a white horse. The angel was wearing a helmet and the horse was highly decorated. She heard the inner voice of God as she looked and He said, 'This is how close it is.' She noticed the angel was bent down to pick up a trumpet which was attached near the girth. As she woke up she could still see the scene on her bedroom wall. It stayed there for an indeterminate time. God repeated His message: 'This is how close it is' (to the rapture).
"The second more recent experience later last year happened in her studio. She teaches ceramics to students and after a class had left she sat down and started thinking about the Lord. She felt exhilarated in her mind and was thinking about how soon Jesus was coming and also what would it be like. She says she feels she was almost questioning in her mind to the Lord although she didn't say anything out loud. She wondered what the rapture would feel like. In an instant she felt herself taken up out of her body at such a speed. All she remembers was the vivid blue surroundings, a feeling of exhilaration and peace. She had no fear at all. She told me that she sensed others also being taken up but couldn't actually see them. As fast as it happened, it was over and she was back in her chair in the studio. She had a sense of it being a Very Soon reality."
