An engineer's rapture dream

Another Rapture Dream 12/10/02

I am writing this on my laptop in my Ramada Hotel as I just woke a few minutes ago and trying to recollect what happened. Time date 12/10/02 Tuesday Evening, 22:32 Pacific Time outside Ontario, CA.

I am engineer who works in power plant commissioning. My job entails visiting job sites all over the world to attest their readiness to startup.

Just attended a group party of some 30+ 'roughneck' construction types. The party was getting raucous and alcohol was flowing big time. Tequila shots were lined up on the table next to me. I was having a hard time nursing my one diet drink. Talk was getting brazen, out of line and not to my liking - i.e. gutter talk. I excused myself early saying I was going gambling at an Indian Reservation nearby. 'Yea man, right on - go for it' was shouted to me as I exited the Mexican Restaurant. I always use a ruse like this to get out that type of situation.

I make for a lousy witness some times! I don't have time for fools!

On the drive back to the hotel, a weird thing happened. A came to traffic light and a brand new full size white dodge van was stopped before me. All over the back including the windows were biblical sayings which include the "follow Me and you will be saved" etc., etc. All I could think was, thank you God, bless you van owner.

Well back in my hotel room around 20:00, I decided to crash for a early morning 5:30am wake up - - - No garbage TV, no hotel movies, just a good night sleep.

Had my routine evening goodnight with God & Jesus. Some call them prayers but I just consider them conversation. Just thanked Him again for getting me out of another tight position, again.

After a short time I was sleeping. What came next was very real and actually happened.

I physical felt myself rising vertically out of the bed. I was taken out of the room and into the stars. All around me were the nighttime stars but I felt no discomfort, no cold or warmth. Just being pulled upward at a rapid pace. I could not see earth or anything below, just stars. I didn't want to look back.

In the meanwhile, I was shouting, "Thank You Jesus! This is the Rapture. It is Real. It is happening" My eyes were tearing up. "Thank You God" What a total rush!

I really felt this was the real thing.

A clear acrylic clipboard suspended in space with about 10 world currencies digitally listed on them in front of me to the left. The red numbers next to them were the valuations of each. The numbers were changing and getting smaller and smaller. The further up I traveled through the stars the value of each currency was approaching zero. Yea that sounds logical, there be no money, no greed in heaven. Beautiful, can't wait.

I felt like I was traveling for out 5 minutes of my time when I shouted "Is this the Rapture, God"

The mentally transmitted response which came back "Very Soon" And then I woke up.

I am one of those rational, logical engineer types who is trained to analyse his environment. What is going on?

This is the 2nd vision, dream or whatever I had this year. The first one was in May of 2002. In that one I was rising from the beaches, felt warmth and a strong presence.

I didn't ask for these, nor did I ever think of a clipboard like this. Nor do I wish to face ridicule again.

What is happening!

Not again, I was annoyed. I sat up in bed saying "No, No" as I didn't want to come back.I didn't belong with the fools on earth.

My own logical explanation for this 2nd occurrence was perhaps God wanted me to again spread witness to our near Rapture again. Time is that short now to the Rapture.

I had to change my email address already because of virus attack after my last vision witness. I was amazed at the number of misled souls and angry people out there. I not afraid to put my true name and email address even though I will probably be attacked by scoffers, snipers and hackers again.

I am also totally awed at the number of responses from True Believers who have shared similar experiences. Many are having similar experiences now and sharing with others.

I place my full belief and trust in our Wonderful Jehovah God and Precious Jesus Christ.

Hopefully the 3rd Beam Up maybe real soon will be the real Rapture and not a vision.

(BRAMLETT note:  A couple of people have criticized John's use of the word "fools" above, saying he should have witnessed to them.  However, I suggest we cut him some slack.  There have been many times when all of us have failed to witness in opportune moments. But we have to be led by the Spirit. Maybe he was not led by the Spirit.  Also, the Bible says that the "fool" says in his heart there is no God, and John in his own way was probably reflecting on the heathen, profligate crowd he was with and just agreeing with God.)
