On a holiday?

Dear friends

This afternoon Rev. Ron Patterson told me about two recent prophetic dreams, or night visions, of a long-time friend of his, whose name is Jerry.

Jerry, he said, is a very solid and credible guy who rarely has such experiences. But in the past, whenever he has had a prophetic dream, Ron says that they always came to pass exactly as Jerry saw them. Because of that, Ron has learned to take very seriously any such experience that Jerry has. If Ron takes something seriously, then I take it seriously.

These two dreams were in the past couple of days.

1. The first one was very brief and all he remembers is that there was a powerful shaking, like from an explosion or an earthquake, and he was not sure which.

2. The second one was in more detail. He was on a golf course, and it was some holiday, and the weather was noticeably warm, such as Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day, but which he did not know. It is possible that it could be any of those days. While the people were enjoying this normal holiday, all of a sudden, there were two intense happenings. First, there was a fervent heat, and people were being disintegrated. Second, there were some people who were not being disintegrated, and instead they were zooming upward toward a great light. Christ was there, in a cloud, and they were zooming up to Him. After this, at the end of the dream, Christ caused a writing in the sky, which read, "ARE YOU READY?"

Jerry realizes this does not mean that when the rapture happens there will be writing in the sky, but he believes this the writing is in keeping with the purpose of the dream -- a warning.

I told Ron that the above story reminded me of news reports that Al Qaeda is reported to be planning a massive attack on the U.S. on Independence Day, July 4, 2002, because of their hatred for what this country stands for and our history.

Ron reminded me of what a Christian lady friend of his heard recently and I cannot remember whether or not I reported this. She was praying or reading the Bible when all of a sudden she actually heard the words, "There are only 52 more days of winnowing." That's all she heard. She did not even know what winnowing meant, but when she looked it up, she discovered that it means separating the wheat from the chaff. She decided to count from the day she heard the words, plus 52 days, and it landed exactly on July 4, 2002.

Jerry lives in the East, and the lady lives in California, and they do not know one another. Yet their experiences could possibly be complementary.

In case you missed it, I reported earlier today an email that I received yesterday from Rev. Alvin C. Folks, who advised me of the following:

"A few months back I whispered a prayer to God--- when are you going to send Jesus back, and a soft answer came -- 'now.' I asked why did you say 'now' and not 'soon'? The soft answer was -- 'soon' is something off in a distance -- 'now' is something that is about to happen.'"
