Update on New Zealand pastor

This is an update on the New Zealand pastor and the removal of Arafat.

In August 2001, I reported the New Zealand pastor, Peter Kumar (from India), who said he had a revelation from the Lord in November 2000 that the "removal" of Arafat would be the last sign before the rapture. My source was Dr. Neil Lipkin, an orthodontist, long-time prophecy teacher, and dear brother in Christ, who had been in contact with Kumar. A later clarification was that there would be an undetermined period of turmoil after Arafat’s removal and that during the turmoil the rapture would occur.

Today I received a pubic statement on this from Kumar's office in New Zealand (see below). It is more detailed than the original report, and also a little different and somewhat vague about the rapture. Actually, in this public statement, he does not mention the word "rapture," but instead uses "the coming of the Lord." However, I did check the year 2001 email from Kumar to Lipkin and he clearly used the word "rapture." I am only guessing but it could be that he did not use it in his public statement because it is a controversial subject and he did not want to stir up the fightin’ posties. But obviously he believes in the rapture.

The bottom line from this new statement and after reviewing his past email statements, is that he does not necessarily see the rapture as immediately after Arafat’s removal but at an undetermined time later, maybe days or months. He says, "The Lord then told me that soon he would remove Arafat and after he removes Arafat we will be able to see the works of the anti-christ." This does not necessarily mean a long time, but it could develop within days or even hours.

Did Pastor Peter Kumar accurately hear from the Lord? Let us watch and see.

Dear friends I feel that the time is now to share with the Forerunners partners around the world about some of the revelations God has put in my spirit.

I have been speaking about these things in my meetings in various nations for the past 2 years

July 1997, while I was in India, I heard that Jesus was coming very soon and people needed to prepare for the coming of the Lord and God is raising end time forerunners according to Luke 117, people who will have the ministry of John the Baptist and the power to do signs and miracles and revival like Elijah.

The Lord directed my family and I to leave India for New Zealand in February 1997, we obeyed and as a result the Forerunners ministry was officially launched in New Zealand in July 1998. Since then Forerunners has been involved in New Zealand and many other nations to raise people with a passion for revival in their nation. The Forerunners ministry is touching at least 15 nations every year.

In the year 2000, November 24th, I was in Melbourne and the Lord spoke to me about Yasser Arafat. The Lord told me that he was like King Nebuchadnezzar in the eyes of the Lord; a heathen King through him God accomplished his purposes. The Lord told me that his hand was upon Arafat. The Lord then showed me a picture of one hand holding a pack of cards, another hand appeared, picked a card and cast it down, the Lord then told me that soon he would remove Arafat and after he removes Arafat we will be able to see the works of the anti-christ. The Lord also spoke to me to check in the scriptures when the true forerunner emerges. In history John the Baptist was born 6 months before the birth of Jesus Christ and I can see that both of them were great contemporaries and God then told me that he has given me a ministry to raise end time forerunners and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ was close. From that time I have been teaching, sharing and silently praying that the hand of God will remain upon Arafat, even when so many people have been saying that Arafat will be killed. I have been praying for his protection.

In March 2001 the Lord told me that Arafat would be surrounded and become immobile. In November 2001 Arafat was placed under house arrest.

September 2001 while I was in England, the Lord spoke about the up rise of the spirit of the anti-christ, which will rise against nations like the U.S., Britain and Australia. I spoke this in England on September 9th and on the 11th the World Trade Towers came down.

January 2002 the Lord said that the time has come to remove Arafat. Since then I have been praying that he won’t be assassinated and a new leader will emerge in his place.

February 2002 while I was in London the Lord that he was going to shake the crown and monarchy because the crown and monarchy that once stood for the propagation of the gospel around the world has now turned their backs against the Lord. The Lord said that if they did not repent and turn back to him they would soon become a kind of confusion. The Queen Mother has passed away and it looks as if things are in the hands of Prince Charles and whether he is willing to put God first in his life.

Now much is happening around Arafat and I feel that very soon God will remove him. He will be either substituted or assassinated. Yesterday the Lord said to watch what was happening in Europe, especially Germany.

I believe that in the days to come USA will become a target of violence and death by many terrorist organisations. In the US people will begin to cry, fast and pray simply because of fear and the Lord will begin to move mightily in USA. Britain will stand alone in Europe and will be widely criticised by other European nations as well as face great onslaught from terrorist organisations. I believe the European involvement will begin in the Middle East.

This is purely my understanding and this will be included in my next book titled "Upon the Altar".

Let us pray for Arafat, the Royal family, and God’s clear direction for President Bush.
