"Not yet..."

Dear friends

"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth NOT YET appear what we shall be but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure" (1 John 32-3).

When will the rapture be? I do not know, and only know it is "not yet."

But there are many reasons that we might "hath this hope" that it will be soon.

First and most important, there are many biblical evidences, which have been expounded on by others in the past and I will not repeat here. This includes the Bible's chronology of time, current world events, especially as pertain to Israel, and signs in the heavens.

Second, there are the personal revelations, less important but which cannot be dismissed, such as (1) to 19-year-old Ronnie Patterson in the fall of 2000 which radically changed his life, and the message he received which would give a window he interprets as through the end of this year, (2) the visitation to the New Zealand pastor in the fall of 2000 who said he was told that the removal of Yasser Arafat would be the last sign, (3) Dr. Eby's failing health, (4) the angels suddenly heard by Dr. Neil Lipkin's wife in her kitchen November 2001, when one of them said, "It's just about time." There are others.

It may or may not be on a Jewish feast day, which I believe may be unlikely because it is primarily a Gentile and not a Jewish event and also because it will be "as in the days of Noah," and "as in the days of Lot," which was before the feast days were given to Moses. It could be any day. But not being sure, I am open to either possibility.

The important thing is not to be discouraged, but to continue to look for that "blessed hope," the Christ and not the antichrist, and in hoping, "purifieth (ourselves), even as he is pure."
