     Greetings and Salutations,

I am Finian O'Niall, herald and historian for the Shire of Loch Bais, on the western border of the Kingdom of Gleann Abhann.  As my name might imply, my personna for the SCA is Irish.  While I am still working on the exact details of my personna, it seems to be settling around the mid-14th century.
Currently, we have only two members with registered devices   A link to the shire's ordinary can be found at the bottom of the page.  I plan on badgering the rest of the shire, so hopefully it will continue to grow in the days to come. Also, you can take a look at the rest of the shire of Loch Bais on the shire's webpage. It can be found at www.lsmsa.edu/lochbais.
I have had the honor of being the first Skald, or Poet Laureate, for the Kingdom of Gleann Abhann.  If for any reason, you would like to read the poem that I composed for Crown List, or any other poems that might be up at the time, follow the link to the  'To the Poet's Words'.  I write primarily medieval Irish poetry, which is really all a matter of theory and conjecture, as we have precious little in existence.  Well as it turns out, I also have the honor of being the second Skald or Poet Laureate for Gleann Abhann and the first to be inducted into the Order of the Gleann Abhann Poet.  At feast of the Fall Crown List, I was awarded my AoA. I was quite surprised!
Well, have a look and enjoy.

Finian O'Niall
