I started collecting them in Dec. 1996 when my Mother-in-law, Betty, gave me my first one for Christmas that year. She sent me my 2nd on for my Birthday the next month but I was already hooked after the first one. These two first ones are very special to me, Betty passed away Feb. 1997. Betty had a collection of 64 pieces among them the 1995 and 1996 Charter Membear peices. I was very touched when my Father-in-law, Glen, passed her Cherished Teddies on to me. I have been able, with the help of my husband Russ, and Glen to finish 3 of the sets that Betty had started. The "Across The Seas Series" and the "Nursery Rhymes" set and the "Sweetheart Ball" set. So this page is for my Cherished Teddies and also for Betty, who loved these little bears.....
