The world's largest diamond is stolen, Michael Gold played by Brandon, is a freelance espionage agent who is sent on a mission to locate Professor Braun, the world's leading laser-weapon expert wanted by an interested country to defect and give his newly developed laser project using 'Diamonds'.
Michael reaches the professor as he is discussing the defect proposals, they are both kidnapped by a communist group and seperated.
In a spectacular jail break, Michael escapes and reports back to the American Embassy. They are not too pleased with him for losing the professor, so he is sent to see the professors daughter Alissa for a lead on the whereabouts of the professor.
Michael and alissa team up to rescue the professor and the diamond. The mission is not that easy, with a pack of K.G.B. soldiers on their tail, a cold blooded weapons dealer, Eckhardt, in front of them and a scorching desert to cross, only to face a deadly trap in a diamond mine.
