I am researching the family of Barbara (Barbary)Patterson Aslinger b. October 1857. She was the daughter of Jean (Jennie) Marlow b. June 10, 1827 and Clark Patterson b. about 1820. Barbara married Thomas Henry Aslinger April 2, 1889. I do not find any other marriage for Barbara. She was the mother of two sons, Nelson Patterson b. Sept. 19, 1878 and Nickie Patterson b. Sept. 18, 1880. If anyone has information on the father of these two boys I would greatly appreciate it. Does anyone know if this family has any connection to the family of Henry and Elizabeth Herrell or their son Rufus Herrell b. Feb. 1, 1857?

I am looking for information on the John and Susannah Williams Landrum family who were in Anderson County beginning about 1805 and possibly as late as 1830. I am certain that John and Susannah had these children:
William b 1797 -- Campbell County VA Thomas b abt 1798 -- Campbell County VA Joshua b abt 1807 -- TN? Henrietta -- b abt 1809 -- TN? Judith (Juda) b abt 1817 -- TN
Two other POSSIBLE children are David b abt 1800 and John b abt 1800.
I have no information on John Landrum's (Sr) family of origin. He appears on Anderson County juries along with a Thomas Landrum in 1812 --- could they be brothers? Father/Son? Cousins? John also appears in Anderson County court records as late as 1822.
William Landrum married and settled in Cole County in 1822. Henrietta and Juda appear in Cole County, MO in the 1830s when Henrietta marries in 1833 and Juda in 1834. Joshua Landrum and a John Landrum (junior I am assuming) are on a delinquent tax list in 1831 in Cole County, MO. Susannah is with son Joshua in the 1850 census in Cole County, MO. The Goodspeed History of Cole County states in a bio for a son of John and Juda Landrum McKinney that Juda left Tennessee for Missouri "with her widowed mother". Did he die in Anderson County? There is a David Landon listed in the 1840 Cole County MO census in close proximity to Landrum family members. Could he be a Landrum?
Trying to 1) connect John Landrum Senior with a family of origin, 2) find additional children for John and Susannah, 3) determine where the Landrum family was from about 1820 to the time they appear in Cole County.
Landrum is also found as Landrem, Landrew, Lannum, Lendrum.
