Proctor: The enigmatic man known as Proctor, was in reality, an alternate reality version of Dane Whitman, the Black Knight. On his world, Proctor began a relationship with Sersi, and eventually became her Gann Josin. All similarities between the two worlds end here however, for his Sersi left him, and the embittered Proctor began a quest of revenge to rid the universe of all the multitude of Sersi's, across it's many parallel and alternate worlds. Capturing the Watcher, Ute, Proctor was able to use his vast power to first destroy his Sersi, and then travel on to other alternate worlds and destroy the version of Sersi he found there. Not just content with killing Sersi, Proctor would first turn her mad, and turn that world's heroes against her. In the end, he would destroy the world as well. Occasionally, Proctor would choose one of the heroes he found to join him, and become a member of the Gatherers. Proctor was finally defeated by Sersi, but not before he had the Avengers and her fellow Eternals think her mad.
The Gatherers: Proctor's team of fallen Avengers from various
worlds he had destroyed and recruited to his crusade of revenge against
the Sersi's across the multiverse. It's members include:
Swordsman
II - Phillip Javert, grew up in the circus
with the Clint Barton of his world. The Swordsman eventually turned against
Proctor and joined the Avengers. Recently, he left Earth with his companion,
Magdelane, to try and start a new life.
Magdelane - Once, the former lover of Proctor, Magdelane was the counterpart of Marissa
Darrow, a fashion model on our world. She eventually joined the Avengers
against Proctor. Recently, she left the Earth with her companion, the Swordsman.
Sloth - A beast-like Gatherer, Sloth was apparently killed in the destruction of Proctor's Andean citadel.
Cassandra -
An elderly woman, Cassandra was actually a fierce fighter, with a destructive
eyebeam. She was apparently killed in the destruction of Proctor's Andean
citadel.
Tabula Rasa -
This 'blank state' was a shape shifting robot. It was apparently killed
in the destruction of Proctor's Andean citadel, but later turned up to
harass the Vision, Ultron and Golden Jocasta, only to be defeated. It is
presumably currently residing in jail somewhere.
Anti Vision -
The Vision from an alternate world, the Anti Vision switched bodies with
the real Vision and infiltrated the Avengers. He was quite insane, and
his lust for the Avenger Crystal proved his undoing. Captured by Sersi,
the Avengers forced him to take them to Proctor's Andean base. He was presumed
dead in the destruction of Proctor's citadel, but later turned up to harass
the Vision. He is apparently currently residing in jail somewhere.
Coal Tiger -
An alternate version of T'Challa, the Black Panther, the Coal Tiger chose
to die rather than live at the expense of a fellow human (the real Black
Panther, who would have to die so that Coal Tiger may live).
Golden Jocasta -
An alternate version of Jocasta, this Jocasta was golden, and had a weapon
in place of her right hand. She was apparently married to the Wonder Man
of her Earth. One of Proctor's second round of Gatherers, she was defeated
by the Avengers, but later turned up as a victim of the Anti Vision's virus.
She was last seen heading off with Ultron (drunk version) to start a new
life. As Ultron later turned up, evil once more, her current whereabouts
are unknown.
Sliver -
A young martial artist, possibly Japanese, she was one of Proctor's second
round of Gatherers. She was defeated by the Avengers, and is presumably
currently residing in jail somewhere.
Tarkas -
A monstrous like creature with spines and a tail. He was one of Proctor's
second round of Gatherers. He was defeated by the Avengers, and is presumably
currently residing in jail somewhere.
Korg - A grey, rocky skinned creature who was fond of saying "It's battering time!"
He was one of Proctor's second round of Gatherers. He was defeated by the
Avengers, and is presumably currently residing in jail somewhere.
Rik - A young man who appeared to be a cyborg of some sort and carried a big
gun. He was one of Proctor's second round of Gatherers. He was defeated
by the Avengers, and is presumably currently residing in jail somewhere.
Ghaur: High Priest of the Deviants, Ghaur has tangled with Sersi on many occasions. He has an unending lust for power, and almost succeeded in gaining the powers of the Dreaming Celestial, in bringing the Elder God, Set, back to this plane of existence, and in gaining the powers of Sersi and her fellow Avengers Captain America, Hercules and Crystal, and the Young God Varua. He was recently transformed into a giant golden statue, and was last seen being salvaged from the destroyed city of Lemuria after the events in The New Eternals.
Kro: Warlord Kro has been the bane of the Eternals for centuries. Unlike other Deviants, he is apparently blessed...or cursed...with immortality, or at least longevity. He was responsible for the 'Demon Horde' that attacked Sersi's apartment while she was guarding Margo Damian. He was also responsible for many of the threats dealt with by Makkari's Monster Hunters during the 1940s. More recently, he has apparently turned over a new leaf, and has worked to bring about the betterment of the Deviants. His status after the recent destruction of Lemuria has yet to be revealed.
Set: An Elder God who removed himself to a different plane of existence centuries ago, Set remained powerful due to the machinations of his own race, the Serpent Men, his large band of human followers, and the Serpent Crown, an object of immense magical power. Sersi was amongst the group of heroes who recently thwarted Set's attempts to return to this plane of existence.
Nebula: The supposed great-grand daughter of Thanos, Nebula is a space pirate who has inherited Thanos' lust for power. Sersi joined the Avengers during their battle to stop one of Nebula's many plots for universal power.
The Anacronauts: The band of adventurers from various points in time who worked for both Kang and the Terminatrix. One of their number, Aprcoyphus, claimed to be the son of Sersi from a possible future date. Most of their number apparently died in the recent turmoil in Kang's citadel of Chronopolis.
The Kree: This militaristic alien race has long sought conquest and domination over others. Sersi was one of the Avengers present when the Kree Empire was recently destroyed by a Nega Bomb, and was one of those who thought the Kree Supreme Intelligence should pay for it's role in the genocide of it's own people. She was also one of the Avengers when a group of Kree survivors threatened to destroy the Earth with a Nega Bomb of their own, and was responsible for thwarting their plans.
Crystal: Ok, so Crystal isn't really a villain...but
she should have known better than to try and worm her way into the Black
Knight's heart when he was already in a relationship with Sersi! Sersi
wasn't fooled by her sweet demure exterior
