This page will one day contain all the information anyone could want to know about the staff of Cimarroncito.

At Cimarroncito a program of environmental awareness will be given to help you know and understand Philmont's flora, fauna, geology, and life zones; and how you can be a part of maintaining the natural order of things so others that follow may enjoy them too.
The fascinating and challenging sport of rock climbing is a favorite of all Philmont campers. Under the supervision of expert climbers, you will climb using your hands and feet while protected by rope, carabiners, and helmet. Safety is always stressed and practiced. You'll scale a step pitch and rappel down a sheer cliff.
Rock climbing is restricted to Cimarroncito and 2 other locations and is only done under the supervison of Philmont rock climbing staff

Rafter Quotes

People don't get fired at Philmont for breaking rules. People get fired at Philmont for being stupid.
Just don't get caught.
