FOCUS Youth Leadership Training Conference

November 25-27 2005 - Samac Adventure Base, Haliburton, Ontario
Based on Scouts Canada National Youth Committee's Focus '97

FOCUS is a peer-to-peer training program developed by the Scouts Canada's National Youth Committee and is intended to provide an opportunity for Leadership Skills Building and Personal Assessment. The workshops will occupy about 5 hours during the weekend. Many other activities both indoors and outdoors will break up the formal learning portions.

There is no direct link to the Venturer program, nor is this to be confused with either a Youth Forum or V.E.I.W. (Venturer Executive Training Workshop.) After the weekend, youth will have learned a little more about their abilities, goals, leadership skills and made many new friends.

Weekend fee for youth $35
Weekend fee for Advisors and escorts $25
includes indoor accommodations, course manuals and food.
