At Brier Ridge, our dogs are a family affair. We are fortunate to have access to over 85 acres of fields and woods available for our playground. The adaptability of these dogs is amazing - from chasing a 4-wheeler through the woods, to competing in a dog show, to zipping through agility obstacles, to being exhibited in 4-H, to wearing dress-up clothes, or to other interesting games invented by our two children! They love it all!
While these dynamic, intelligent, and extremely versatile dogs make outstanding companions, they are not for everyone. Aussies retain a strong herding and guardian instinct. Activity level, training, and lots of socialization are critical to the success and mental well-being of your new companion.
