Summer Baltimore Trip

19 June through 22 June 2003.

Routing: CLL-DFW-DCA-BWI-DFW-CLL

After screwing over my internship company out of a plane ticket (if you don't know the story, it's kinda funny, ask me...unless you're from my internship company), I decided to visit my dear friend Eva in Maryland. Here are some pictures from that journey.

The SAAB 340B to take me from CLL-DFW

A view of the General Aviation facilities at Easterwood Airport. This place is where I spent a lot of time before my freshman year earning hours for my pilots license.

If you can read it, this is American's memorial to its employees who were killed on 11 September 2001.

View of most of Terminal C and a tad bit of Terminal A at DFW.

Terminal A at DFW.

Terminal A + Old American Eagle Ramp.

American Eagle Satellite Terminal.

The White House and the Washington Monument on a cloudy day.

The United States Capitol. Surrounding it are offices from L'Enfant Plaza.

The 757-200 that brought me to DCA.

View from outside the Courtyard apartments at U-Maryland College Park.

Entrance onto Interstate 95 from Maryland 100. I-95 is perhaps the busiest freeway in the country. It goes from Miami, FL to the Canadian Border in Maine.

The view from Eva's backyard. It's beautiful!

New colour scheme for Southwest Airlines at BWI. I think I like it, but it's a tad bright.

One of my better photos, I think.

Plane to take me from BWI to DFW. MD-80

View of Charlestown, WV enroute to DFW.

Little Rock, AR.

Sunset on DFW from departing SAAB 340B.

And I return home to CLL. I think this is also an awesome shot; it captures the sun and trees nicely.
