Schedule of Events

Friday, May 3, 2002

PM - Institute Farm will be open to visitors; if you have arranged for overnight lodging in the clubhouse or cabins, please check in with Joey & Jean McDonald or consult the list of room/cabin assignments which will be posted on the back porch of the house.


Saturday, May 4, 2002

6:30AM - 7:30 AM - Sign in at the clubhouse. Breakfast will be served. (Please note that ALL HOUNDS must be signed in by owners/agents.)

7:00AM - Deadline for substitutions for bitches in estrus.

7:30AM - Roll call, followed by mandatory pre-measurement of hounds (except that official AKC measurement cards will be accepted). * Drawing of the braces/trios to immediately follow.

8:00AM - Judging of the Brace-format Field Trial will begin promptly following measurement and drawing of the hounds. Judging alternates between 13” and 15” braces/trios; exhibitors/agents are responsible for having their hounds ready and waiting by the gate to the enclosure when their brace/trio is called.

?TBA? PM - Lunch break. Caterer will have lunch available between 12N and 1PM for exhibitors and spectators. Judges may break for their lunch at other than scheduled time.

6:30PM to ? - Cocktail Party - hosted by Holly Hill Beagles, John & Wanda Borsa, joint M.B.; held in the main room of the clubhouse.

7:30PM - Dinner served. Raffle to be drawn at the party, following dinner.


Sunday, May 5, 2002

5:30 AM - Continental Breakfast.

6:30AM* - Roll call.

6:45AM* - Judging of the Three Hour Stakes. The hounds will be taken afield immediately following roll call, and released only upon order of the judges, so time is approximate.

c. 10:00 AM - Brunch. The caterer will have brunch available from 10AM until 11AM only.

c. 11:15 AM - Judging of the Conformation Show will follow the brunch break.

? PM (time TBA) - Awards Ceremony will be held promptly after completion of all judging, and when the final, total scores for all hounds have been tallied. Please do not bring your hound, but do keep them close at hand so that we can photograph all of the award winners following the ceremony! Thank you.
