LMNT ANNOUNCES A BREAK TO PURSUE OTHER PROJECTS
Member Bryan Chan signs management deal and begins work on solo project
LOS ANGELES, CA -- Amid speculation that Atlantic Records group LMNT has disbanded, the group made famous by the hit television show Making the Band, has released the following statement:
"We'd like to thank all of our fans that have supported us throughout these past four years - we couldn't have made any of our accomplishments without you. You're the whole reason that we do what we do and we enjoy every minute of it. But now that things have been able to slow down for us as a group, we're taking a break from LMNT to spend some time with our families, enjoy a little down time and work on some things individually. We hope to see you as we pursue some different directions this upcoming year, and we'll be keeping you posted on all of our new projects! Have a happy holiday....love Bryan, Jonas and Mike...LMNT"
Group member and founder Bryan Chan has entered into a management agreement with Brian Mayes of Nashville Publicity Group, and is currently working on material for a solo project. Nashville-based songwriters Sam Mizell and Scott Davis, as well as Mayes and Chan are among those contributing to the project.
LMNT released their debut CD in 2002 on Atlantic Records. The highly successful "boy band" has consistently placed in Radio Disney's Top 10, toured with Britney Spears on the "Dream Within a Dream Tour", and is featured on a number of soundtracks including Kim Possible, 101 Dalmations 2, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, and Radio Disney Jams.
